The location was brilliant and the accommodation was comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated.
The property was difficult to locate in the first instance. The water pressure to the shower was limited. The refuse & recycling bins were in need of replacement. The television was a little small, with limited accessibility.

Lovely cosy cottage in a fantastic location with Monmouth & Ross on Wye.
Cottage was lovely and warm with great facilities.

Great location and had everything that we needed
Bathroom tiles around the bath need cleaning. The entrance was practical for 4 people entering with a dog when it’s raining and you’re wet. Tiled/ wood effect would be more practical than carpet. Coat hooks on the wall by the door would be useful

Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped. Superb location, great for walking and great pubs nearby too.
Shower could go with an upgrade or pump but such a small thing as everything else is great.

Everything was great with the cottage - especially liked the short walk to the river/rapids where we watched the sun setting with a drink on a small beach.. :0)
Double mattress maybe needs to be replaced we both had trouble sleeping on it.. but it didn't spoil are stay as the cottage was lovely in a great location and had everything we needed..

Cosy little property; marvellous location, so quiet
Nothing, apart from parking being a bit tight on one occasion, but that’s really nitpicking.

Location was beautiful. Easy walk to the river and walks along it in both directions
Parking is tricky if you have a second car.

Quaint comfortable cottage, a real home from home in an absolutely stunning location. Exceeded all expectations. A wonderful peaceful break away. A credit to the owner.

The cottage was comfortable and cozy ,it was a home from home, the walking for the dog was fantastic Buster loved the woods and all the different smells, he liked to play with the visiting frog in the garden that appeared in the evenings. The gardens attached to the property was nice and relaxing. All in all we were able to unwind and relax which is what we all needed .
Nothing to be fair ..
Just that the kitchen had everthing except for a decent set of cooking tongs.

comfortable cottage, in a good location. perfect for walking and exploring. well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. owner was responsive to our questions. Christmas tree was a nice & thoughtful touch.
could have been cleaner in places. was a little cold, but our trip did coincide with this December’s exceptional cold-snap. i suspect that in normal conditions it would be more than adequate.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Great walks nearby
Reasonable walk to nearest pub and the road to cottage is narrow so you won't want to go far at night . Due to COVID all games books etc have been removed so ensure you bring these

Comfortable and welcoming, well equipped and spotless
Electric fire, due to Arwen storm there was no electricity, and there was no alternative.

Beautiful cottage but we found it was a bit far out for what we wanted

Great location and property, everything that you need.
Master bed slightly uncomfortable

Nice surroundings. Good, basic accommodation.
Front door was difficult to lock from outside and wouldn't lock from inside at all - had to use the bolts to lock it (have seen this issue on previous reviews and in the guest book but the landlord still hasn't fixed it). Cottage was very cold at night - no central heating, and the heating units provided were not adequate. Hot water took a very long time to warm up.

We loved to views and location of this cottage.
The by road to the property was scary to drive down. It’s a extremely narrow path
It as few passing places for other cars.
