Aquarium by the Sea

The location was perfect- very close to the beach and the city center, yet not in the middle of it all, so it was quiet and peaceful. The apartment itself was amazing- spacious, beautiful, comfortable. The kitchen was very user friendly. There's a washer and dryer in the apartment, and the layout is perfect. AC worked great, which was a huge plus bc there was a heat wave while we were there. We loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The beds weren't the most comfortable, but it didn't ruin or even affect our trip.

Air condition was not working in every room

Debbie was waiting for us when we arrived to handover keys and review appliance operation with us. Air-conditioning worked well.

Significant benefit is the parking in the grounds. Apt was quite spacious, we didn’t feel the need to use the outside deck, it was lovely to chill inside (and there were 7 of us). You can pay extra for another car if they have space at the time, which was also very helpful. Remember to pack soap, shampoo and conditioner I found a lot of apts didn’t provide these items, through Italy. Host was very helpful and charming to deal with. If heading to Cinque Terre, we spent first afternoon and headed to northern town, Monterosso for lunch, trained it to Vernazza (we didn’t do the 2hr walk). The next day was more relaxed, trained to Riomaggiore (bought a ticket that morning at the train station 10E, to do the walk, it was lovely, you have to book in a time before heading there on the train). Manarola, Corniglia were equally lovely. Trained it back to Riomaggiore had a quick swim (around where the beach is, near the boat ramp, so happy we did), then took the ferry all the way back to Levento as I love seeing landscapes from the water. Train coast 48E for the 2 days, plus 10E Riomaggiore walk plus 20E for the ferry. Not the most economical way to do it but there was no stress. Apt was located about 10mins walk from the train station, very easy and it was set back just from the beach where we spent 2 nights enjoying the hospitality of Levento. A beautiful little seaside town, so glad we stayed at this apt. Safe travels.

Loved our stay at Aquarium by the Sea! Walking distance to the beach an cute town of Levanto. Perfect for our family of 6.

The location was excellent, the apartment was well equipped and very spacious. Being met with the keys was extremely helpful

Nothing was wrong. Perhaps a few extra towels but that is very minor and this is still a five star rating
