I couldn't get in the property no one answered the phone about getting in I emailed booking Com you said you would get back to me in 24 hours and never did so I had to book another apartment so I paid 157 pound to not get in so I want my money back or I am taking you to court cost 380£ to get some where else to stop so please contact me and give my money back and also the 380 I paid for some where else otherwise I would have to sleep outside in the rain

DO NOT BOOK - CANCELLED LAST MINUTE

Weren't able to get into property to actually stay, so nothing, I guess.

Tried to contact the owner multiple times between booking and our stay dates, through here, WhatsApp, and email, never heard anything back. The day of our stay came and we had no details to check in/get into the property. Tried to call owner, nothing. Ended up on the phone to booking.com customer services who were actually very helpful, ended up getting cancelled via booking.com and a refund issued. We were meant to be going for my partners birthday, luckily it was only an hour down the road so didn't take long to get back home after our weekend was cancelled.

Worn & grubby

Good location and it was useful to have a kitchen for our three day stay.

The place isn't in very good shape: carpets were filthy; the place was generally worn and grubby; mattress was uncomfortable & blinds are extremely insufficient for stopping light. I think the pictures a taken in a very clever way to hide the state of the property! No response from host despite messaging a few times. We received lots of automated messages which gave us the information we needed so at least there was something.

Great location, budget accommodation

The property had a great location close to Plymouth hoe, barbican and city centre.

The property is in need of some treatment and a good clean. There were broken tiles and a blocked sink in the bathroom. Kitchen was unclean and full of cobwebs. The living room consisted of a coffee machine without any instructions or coffee! The mattress in the bedroom was either cheap or very old and it creaked with every movement and you could feel every spring. Unfortunately, the boiler decided to play up one night also, after messaging and ringing the owner their communication was none existent. Luckily we managed to get it working again and normal heating and hot water resumed.

Great location in a quiet street very close to the Hoe. Good to have free parking nearby. Spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen.

The apartment feels like it needs a good clean, rather more than a surface wipe. As mentioned in previous reviews over the past few years - bathroom needs some hooks or rails to hang towels and clothes, outdoor furniture needs replacing as the rusty table is dangerous. Patio door did not work. A few simple fixes would make a big difference. Carpark space needs better signage - as the only sign said TO LET.

Good location and Apartment but the parking costs are harsh.

The apartment was in a good location and was ideal for what we wanted and close to the Royal Citadel where our weekend events were being hosted. The apartment was well equipped but lacked a few creature comfort’s and safety issues which I have made the Landlord aware of. Key code was simple and effective however the front door to the building is insecure and needs a new frame so does not close as it should. Just make sure you double check your room is locked before going out as there are several other flats within the building and people come and go day and night.

It was advertised with parking but on checking the spot reserved it was in another street and was originally a bin area for the flats and Belmont Hotel but has been rented and adapted as a parking space. There is currently building work being carried out at the location and we were advised by the roofing guys not to park in the spot as debris occasionally falls down from the site onto the pavement. The parking area is very small and has no dropped curb so you have to mount the pavement to get into the space,not ideal if you have a low car and if your car is long it will be parked partially on the pavement. Civil Enforcement officers may look at that as pavement parking. The whole area is parking fees both Day and Night so we had the extra cost of £45 for our stay to park close to the apartment.

Most enjoyable break, thank you for everything.

Location was excellent, only 5 mins walk from the Hoe and not far from the city centre. The flat is spacious and very clean with all the facilities needed. Only extra thing I would add is a throw to use on the settee if dogs are staying. Even when taking their own bed, it is not easy to keep them off furniture (ie during the night), and a throw would help to keep hair and smell off the settee.

Spacious apartment on walking distance to the center

The location was perfect, also the free parking around the corner was very nice. Spacious apartment with a good equipped kitchen. They allowed our dogs, it was clean and the bed was fine.

If you need to have a dark room to sleep, you have to bring a sleepingmask. The bedroom is very bright early in the morning. On the other hand, if you wake up early, you have more hours in the day to visit Cornwall, which is beautiful!

Excellent location and the parking was a bonus. Spacious apartment which was very comfortable.

Fantastic location, a few minutes walk from Plymouth Hoe, 10 minutes walk to The Barbican, and about the same to the Theatre Royal. The kitchen has everything you need and a lovely comfortable living room and bedroom. All very smart looking when you open the door to the flat. The parking space is behind the house opposite to Plymouth Hoe Hideaway. Very convenient.

I'm afraid the front door to the building could do with a wash! it was very scruffy. But that might not have anything to do with the owners of the flat.. I don't know. I would suggest they speak to the building owners and ask them to clean the door, keysafe and the porch, so the first impression is a bit more positive. And maybe replace the table and chairs on the lovely spacious, terrace as they are very old and rusty as it would have been nice to sit out there with a beer. I didn't want to use them. But overall, it was really lovely. As I say, once you are in the flat, it's clean, modern and very comfortable.

loved the location and the fact that it had parking. Facilities were fabulous, very impressed

My only criticism is that there could be curtains in the lounge. It was very cold, despite the bedroom being very warm. We wouldnt have needed the heating on if there hadnt been a draught.

Cozy flat in a great location, good value for money, Host was helpful and accommodating. Would recommend and would stay again.

The apartment is basically presented. If some of the suggestions from previous reviews had been addressed it would have been a better stay. The pillows were very thin and no spares. The neighbours upstairs were very noisy at night into the early hours each night, it sounded like they were walking round the apartment and opening drawers. This really disturbed our sleep which was a shame.
