Everything was exceptional - beautifully decor and landscape Staff were great - breakfast amazing and Oscar drove us into town and picked us up for good rate Local grocery shop right out front and restaurants / coffee within metres of gate

Only small issue A couple of high steps - one at front gate and access to first rooms was difficult with bad knee Also had trouble getting into pool as first step was quite deep. Young people had no problems.

The property exceeds expectations-the photos do not do the justice it deserves. It is beautiful, spacious, clean and well maintained. A great find just outside the bustle of Ubud centre

Staff are so fantastic, rooms clean and place is beautiful, breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Only negative is it is quite a distance from ubud main streets so taxi is needed to get around. If you had bikes it would be perfect!

Address on the listing is incorrect, different house number. Property is Behind Abe Do Warung. The property needs a clean. We had to wait for the next morning for toilet paper refill too. Breakfast was boring. We stayed for 3 nights and option was the same every day. 2 of the 3 mornings breakfast was made late. The Wegi bowl had no honey and coconut on either during our stay.

The property was very spacious over three levels. Hosts were available when required. Pool was great. I would stay again.

This was very disappointing. Very dirty and mould in the rooms & showers. The dirt and hair on the shower base was terriable. Rats had eaten the cupboard under the sink and not cleaned. The kitchen was so dirty. We booked this accommodation on booking.com because of the reviews. Its with regret I write this review BUT I would hate for someone else to be mislead on this property. It was expensive to stay $2800 for 5 nights and was so disappointing.

The location is situated in Ubud and is easy to get anywhere. The service is pretty good!

Huge place for extended family

Dirty and smelly toilets, utensils, kitchen, furniture, walls in one bedroom with peeled paint - look like getting ready for Halloween, lots of ants, found some on our bed, have to remind staff to clear rubbish, don't even provide enough toilet paper....the list goes on

I like that it can accommodate for large group of people. I brought my wife's family here and its a quiet place with comfy bed, big dining area and private pool. Every room had its own bathroom and the rooms are relatively clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and responsive. We had a blackout but the staff responded straight away to fix it. We also requested for the pool timer to be switched on until midnight and they ensured that happened and we had a good night swim! They also prepared for us breakfast in the morning. We will order on the spot and they will cook for us.

The location seemed far away from other attractions. Thus alot of time was spent on travelling. Also our van could not drive into the house as the alley is too narrow and small. Therefore we have to walk in from the main road. Since the house is located among the local residents, you will experience rooster crowing in odd timings in the middle of the night. The house is surrounded by trees so expect some flying visitors in the house.

Wegi House 2 is unusual for a villa, but not so for a house in Ubud, Bali. Nestled at the far end of a family plot, it was built to serve as a guest house for the many travellers from all over the world who come to Ubud. Guests are greeted by staff at the side of the road which leads into a small lane that made its way between the homes of Yan’s family members. Some 70 meters in, one is greeted by a small gate that hides a pool and the five-bedroom villa on three levels. The villa is not like a home away from home for it lacks a living room. It is the place where one sets off to explore Bali, only to return in the evening for a cool beer and a quiet conversation beside the pool or on the small verandas on the 1st and 2nd floors. We found ourselves spending time chatting about the day’s events and having other deep and meaningful conversations because it was so peaceful. The lush greenery surrounding the villa makes one forget that Ubud town is but less than two kilometres away. My autistic daughter has specific dietary requirements and the staff made sure she had her meals every day. Although the small kitchen did have a menu, the chief cook who worked at Wegi House 2 has just left when we arrived, and thus the food we asked the staff to prepare was not particularly memorable unlike my last trip to Bali. Still, the villa offered us a place of tranquillity at the end of the day diving off Manta Point or white water rafting the Ayung River. The initial surprise of having to walk between other homes to get to the villa transformed into a wonderful ritual of seeing smiles and pleasant wishes of Selamat Pagi from the residents of homes nearby. I do not believe that Wegi House 2 is for everyone. It is rustic and some rooms needed minor repairs. But after two-and-a-half years of the pandemic that decimated the tourist industry that the people of Bali so heavily depend upon, Wegi House 2 is not a bad place to see Bali come alive once again.

Some leaks in the bathrooms could have been attended to. The place could have been a little cleaner too. But the staff tried very hard to please us, and I appreciated that.

We liked how the villa is located inside a compound surrounded by locals who we got to see preform daily traditional and cultural tasks which was very interesting. Alex and the staff were amazing and very accomodating. The rooms are spacious and very clean with cold AC and a blacony. The pool was big enough for all 9 of us and the location of the villa is very close to Ubud main road. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Beautiful villa with plenty of space. There were 3 in our group and we all had a floor each. The pool was our favourite part of the villa, stunning!

There was mould in the bathrooms which is not ideal and the safe was not attached to the wall.
