Alla cava Orvieto

Stefano was a great host - was incredibly accomodating in meeting us at/dropping us off to the train station. Despite neither of us being able to speak each others language, he helped us settle in the studio and showed us what we needed to know. There were some great provisions, including a bottle of wine, chilled drinks, snacks, and pantry staples (including pasta)! The studio was very clean and tidy - great little space with everything we needed. Great location - only a short up-hill walk to the main part of Orvieto.

The studio is quite noisy (even at night) being located at the exit of the town/end of the main road. The linen was very clean, but unfortunately had a strong artificial smell to it (as did the room air freshener) that we struggled with. We weren’t able to sleep without the windows open due to the scent, making the street noise worse. Would recommend ear plugs for light sleepers.

It was well equipped
