Spacious and clean in a great part of the old city

Very spacious apartment with 2 good sized bedrooms, a big living/dining room, big shower room, plus separate toilet and charming sit-in kitchen. Beautiful old building in a lively part of the old town. Close to everything. Even had a cinema nextdoor and two great restaurants a few feet away. Lots of space for clothes. Quiet, clean with great view over a neglected garden.

Nothing really. Mattress a bit hard for me but none of the others had an issue.

A charming and quiet apartment in the heart of Perugia and excellent value!

I liked the apartment the way it is kept and furnished. The place is very charming and clean. Location was also good. The apartment was cool and comfortable to sleep with windows opened thus fresh air despite the high temperature outside. Because it face internal courtyard, you don't hear the noise from the street where it is full of restaurants at night. The host Alessandra and husband are very nice and communication via WhatsApp was excellent for any information regarding restaurants and other things in Perugia

Cozy, Characterful Stay Close to Main Perugia attractions

Very spacious apartment in Perugia's historic center. Beautiful old furniture and a charming small balcony overlooking a quiet inner courtyard. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the main square, Piazza IV Novembre. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth. I especially appreciated the Lavazza espresso machine and the complimentary coffee – a lovely touch!

The listing mentions two bathrooms, but it's actually 1.5 – one full bathroom and an additional WC. Also, the mattress was quite firm and not very comfortable for me.

Perfect Place in Perugia.

We have absolutely nothing negative or even slightly unsatisfactory to say about Casa Diomede. Only one thing could make the property better — being closer to the train station — and that isn’t ever going to happen thanks to Perugia’s marvelous geography! Our short, entirely enjoyable stay at Casa Diomede was during the last week of our 5 weeks in Italy and …… in combination with truly delightful Perugia …. was a real high point of our entire journey. Although simple, Alessandra’s wonderful and sincere departure salutation from her window as we got into our taxi was delightful….and memorable. Little things are often the best !

Communication with staff was excellent. Apartment well renovated with tasteful furnishings. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Clean and secure close to centre of perugia.

Parking was expensive and hard to navigate our way to apartment around winding streets.

A perfect stay in a beautiful city

Lovely, spacious apartment in the historic centre of Perugia. Located in a fascinating part of the city which blends traditional architecture with an eclectic mix of cafes, bars, galleries and street art. The apartment was extremely comfortable; a great deal of thought had obviously been put into providing everything a traveller needs. The host's daughter was there to meet us on our arrival, and showed us around the apartment. Alessandra was the perfect host, taking care to keep in touch discretely and ensuring everything was to our liking. When I mentioned that I had found the apartment a little cold on the first night, she turned the central heating on which made it beautifully warm and toasty. Thank you very much for the hospitality you and your family showed us during our Perugia stay, Alessandra. :)

Fabulous apartment near centre

Loved the apartment. Perfect location near centre of town. Our host Alessandra was delightful and very helpful. Kindly left us biscuits, coffee, jams etc which was a nice gesture. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Great base for visiting the area.

Clean and comfy apartment in medieval city

Owner's husband very helpful with carrying luggage and owner and daughter spoke excellent English. Follow up communication to check all ok. Breakfast hamper welcome and generous. Area felt safe and quiet. Separate toilet useful in addition to shower room. Balcony from comfy master bedroom. Spacious apartment throughout. Wifi worked.

No full length mirror. Extractor fan in shower room needs cleaning. No microwave. Massively steep hill into town! It's a stone building so WiFi can be iffy in certain parts. Beware if you have mobility issues as lots of stairs to get to apartment.

interesting palazzo in fascinating part of town but access needs lots of stairs. the host Alessandra was really lovely.

we loved Alessandra! she was helpful, kind and informative. she took great pride in her palazzo. the apartment was spacious and well appointed. Alessandra offered good touring and eating suggestions.

we stayed only 1 night out of 4 booked. the apartment was very cold for us and host said that it was not possible to turn on heat. it was unclear when booking how difficult a climb it would be from car park to palazzo. very, very difficult for two older ladies to navigate on foot with luggage. description said ‘washing machine’ but that meant dishwasher to them not clothes washer. we will be contacting Booking.com for a partial refund. it was not what we thought we were getting.

fabulous location with everything you need!!

Alessandra is a wonderful hostess. She welcomed us and provided some great suggestions for food in the area. the property is close to the mini-train station that takes you to the central station and a short walk to the centre and all the sights in Perugia. Alessandra was also kind enough to provide an Umbrian Easter cake along with other breakfast items and supplies. loved it here and would book again!

wish there was a balcony to enjoy the view (but that’s not the fault of the property :) )

Great location, spacious and comfortable apartment.

Great location in the historic center of Perugia (and near our daughter's study-abroad housing at the Umbra Institute). Spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped accomodations, including coffee (essential) and other breakfast items. Very gracious hostess.

Literally nothing: the entire experience met and exceeded all expectations. If we ever return to Perugia, we hope Casa Diomede will still be in business.

We felt very much at home in the apartment.

Very spacious, well-equipped apartment in a characterful part of town only 5 minutes walk from the main square. Alessandra was very kind: when we told her we are vegan she went out and bought us lots of fruit and vegan products. Highly recommended.

Car parking a bit tricky, there is a public car park 5 minutes walk away which costs 17 Euros per day.

Ontzettend genoten van een verblijf in dit fantastische appartement

Het appartement is prachtig, ruim, superschoon en ligt op een fantastische plek in Perugia. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Alessandra de host is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en geeft heel fijne tips om te doen of waar te eten. Heel prettig is dat er ontbijt was klaargezet, wij arriveerden s’avonds en konden niet meer naar een supermarkt dus dat was top! Wij gaan hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen!!

Fantastischer Aufenthalt mitten in der Altstadt

Sehr schöne gut ausgestattete Wohnung, die trotz der zentralen Lage angenehm ruhig ist. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung befinden sich Bars und Restaurants, teilweise mit Livemusik. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig in 6 Minuten erreichbar. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar, haben viele Tipps gegeben. Haben unseren Aufenthalt hilfreich unterstützt.

La struttura era accogliente e molto carina. La pulizia ottima. La posizione eccezionale: a dieci minuti dal duomo , con due supermercati vicino, oltre a tanti locali praticamente sotto casa.

Un séjour gâché par l'absence de deuxième salle de bains.

Bon emplacement. Surface correcte

L'appartement était présenté comme ayant 2 salles de bains mais il n'y en avait qu'une et un wc avec lavabo sans eau chaude ni douche , ce qui est une forme d'escroquerie sur laquelle je compte réagir auprès de Booking. Par ailleurs, l'équipement de la cuisine était succint pour 4 personnes et le revêtement d'une poêle type Tefal était détérioré, ce qui a empêché l'utilisation de cet objet, vu les risques cancérigènes.
