Great stay but TLC required.
We still was able to really enjoy our stay. We have been a returning family for a few years accommodation in a great location. Comfy and spacious. Staff polite and attentive from the hotel. - we required to change the thermostat batteries which then unpaired from the boiler. Plumber was required to reconnect this and was not available until the following morning. Staff dealt with this in a timely manner and was prompt in bringing us some heaters over to keep the house warm. Really professional, polite and kept great communications.
Property requiring some TLC, maintainence and restocking No full set of glasses - all mix match of sizes and seem to be glasses from the pub. Only 5 dining chairs (property sleeps 6) one of which is peeling. Radiator covers coming apart, Tiles cracked and loose in bathrooms. Hole to wall in Upper bathroom. Extractor hood lights not working Windows- parts of Windows handles missing/loose Internal door handles- couple missing parts off handles Only 1 medium oven tray and minimal pans. For a self catering stay and a family of 6 like us that did cook our main meals in, cooking a dinner was tricky at times. Oven light not working.

love the style and feel of the place very warm and inviting, plenty of room for everyone to relax and an amazing view, it’s one of our favourite places to go.
the Wi-Fi was down most of our holiday,which was quite frustrating because the only reason we went for the week was because we could get some work done while we were there. But because we went Friday and the Wi-Fi wasn’t fixed until Wednesday, it meant we was very behind with a lot of things which is disappointing because the last couple of times we went the Wi-Fi worked fine.

Very good
We love this place but it does need some attention. We was there in 2020 too. There is only 5 dining chairs -luckily only 5 of us. Only 5 forks. The wardrobe is broke up stairs and was broken in 2020! Just need to have a good look over and a handy man for the small Jobs around the place. But excellent location. Great views and we will book again and hope these smalls things are sorted.

fabulous weekend away with friends in a lovely location
Great location by the beach within easy reach of town centre and Sewerby Hall. Well equipped kitchen plenty of crockery and pots and pans. Very clean, supplied plenty of towels, comfy beds. Would book again!
There was nothing I did not like.
