Scrupulously clean, modern and bright with everything you need for a short stay. The bedroom was amazingly cool which was much appreciated in the heat and the bed was lovely and comfortable.
It's as stated, right in the town centre and that has drawbacks as well as benefits. The down side being that it was noisy at times in the front but the bedroom was very peaceful. Also, it's not a particularly nice road with a fair few run down properties and some dodgy people hanging around so I was glad it was only just off the main road. I had to walk quite a way to park and didn't feel too comfortable about that especially at night. If you're not solo it probably wouldn't matter but it's a consideration for me. I assumed I was cleared to park in Zone A having confirmed my reg number the day before but I hadn't, as it apparently takes a while to register guests - because of this I ended up with a £50 fine (reduced by 50% if paid within 14 days) - make sure you confirm you have parking rights with A&A before you use Zone A.
Couldn't fault the property but not sure the location is right for me but the place was so lovely it would tempt me back.
Would have felt a bit more comfortable with a bolt in the front door too.
Felt uncomfortable in the location due to what appeared to be homeless / street drinkers handing around. There's also a community support building a few doors away and the general area is quite run down. I was a bit concerned walking to and from my car as I couldn't park near to 4A and I was aware that I was being watched putting things in the boot.
