SANA Berlin Residence

Great location, great staff, great breakfast. Lobby and the restaurant/bar are lovely areas and generally the hotel is of a high standard. Great to have the option of an apartment hotel with two decent size bedrooms and a kitchen/living space too.

Some of the furnishings in the room were a little tired - not sure whether just our room or how typical that may be. Big chip on the TV unit, and the dishwasher was missing its front fascia panel. Nothing major at all but it did retract a little from the quality of the rest of the hotel which was generally very smart, modern and well kept.

Clean, modern and spacious apartments, well equipped and comfortable. Well located just across from an U-bahn station and not far from Zzologisch station. Some great restaurants v nearby.

Directions from airport ijncluded in the welcome email weren't right so had quite a frustrating time looking for a train that doesn't even go from the airport! Bar is expensive. Plenty of better priced bars nearby, tho.

Good area, ubahn station opposite. Clean, modern, comfortable, well equipped.

It's our second stay at Sana, the first was at Sana Hotel and this time me and my wife decided to book an apartment. In part, because we liked the location and how close it is to Ku-damm and the subway. So, the location is really nice, the hotel is easy to find and the apartment was spacious enough for the two of us. It also had a kitchen and the cookware. Soundproofing is fine and the only time we could hear other guests is when they were coming through the hallway. I was able to connect my laptop to the TV via hdmi cable and watch some Netflix that way, but you also can connect to the chrome-cast and stream stuff from your phone.

The room itself is a bit worn-out with a lot of visible scratches in the kitchen area and some water damage on the bathroom sink. The couch in the "living room" area smelled like dust and wasn't really comfortable to sit on. Wifi connection was meh. The speed was fine, but the stability was poor. So, if you will need to make a work call or something, probably using mobile internet will give you a better result. I spotted an ethernet port in the bedroom, but apparently it was used for the phone earlier because my laptop couldn't get any signal through it. When I asked people on reception about it, they were very surprised that they even have an ethernet port in the room. My another nitpick is that the room we got was different from the photos. Our room had no outlets near the table, so I had to use an extension cord to connect my laptop to the outlet near the couch.
