    Can’t fault the mercure at Wittenbergplatz! Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms and great facilities! Staff are really helpful and polite which made the stay even better. Great location too!

    - Stayed for total of 11 days. Cleaniness 1. Instructions by hotel was for towels to be left on the bathroom floor if fresh towels were to be requested. But housekeeping picked up the dirty towels which were left on the floor and placed it back onto the towel rack without changing them on several occasions. The room was made each day which is nice but to put and fold the dirty towel back to the rack is really disgusting for me. 2. Requested for fresh bedsheets to be changed as well. I followed the card instructions to leave the card on the bed however, housekeeping merely re tucks the sheets as there was still hair all over the sheets. Had to call the reception personally to have them remind housekeeping to change the sheets. 3. Housekeeping seems to be a little sloppy given its rating i think i expected more.. Water replacement was left by the door and not in the fridge on one occasion… Staff - Some hotel stuff is really nice. The other 3 receptionist i met made the stay really enjoyable. - Hotel is shorthanded at night (between 830-930pm), even though they made the towels mistake, on several occasions Steph (i think that was her mame) had me to pick up the towel from reception stating that she is the only person in the hotel. However on both occasions, when i headed down there was actually another person at the counter, she wasnt alone. That being said, it could be a coincidence that a second staff decided to appear when i headed down to the reception. Location - this location is no doubt very very convenient Amenities - there isnt amenities like pool gym etc apart from a bar/hotel breakfast and some cosy comfortable seats in the hotel lobby. They do have laundry services
