Lindner Hotel Berlin Ku'damm, part of JdV by Hyatt

Amazing location, easy to find. It was clean, modern, safe. The girls on the desk were friendly and helpful, even suggesting a good pizza restaurant down the road.

The reception staff are very helpful and ready to assist promptly with any request; the breakfast was good in variety and taste; the room was comfortable and reasonably quiet; complimentary water in the refrigerator at arrival was appreciated. The open-plan layout — lacking a separate bathroom — isn't as bad here as it is in other hotels that use this unpopular design. If you need to stay in this part of the city, the hotel is optimally located on the main street, close to various public transport options and even a large supermarket that stays open late and on Sundays.

There was a stale smell coming from the sink drain (can be dealt with by closing the plug when not in use), and the water drained too slowly; the tea/coffee maker had limescale. The Ku'damm area is too far from interesting sights and museums, so I wouldn't recommend it to tourists. Also, around noon on Sunday, there were no proper restaurants opened, only fast-food kind. Other issues are typical of hotels in Germany: the air conditioning turns on automatically whenever you enter the room, and guests are encouraged to forgo housekeeping in exchange for complimentary drinks; instead, the hotels should consider providing enough toilet paper, tissues, tea and coffee to last more than just a day or two and keep soap containers fully filled – this way, more guests might skip cleaning. Furthermore, opting out of housekeeping requires scanning a QR code, whereas simply hanging a sign on the door would be more convenient.

The hotel is vey close to the Ku'damm and it is very convinent for shopping and it also a good vibe. the breakfast is quite good, it is continental and fresh. the stuff is very helpull, specially Zahara who gave us extra hour for check out . the rooms are cleen, every day sharp on time they clean them while we went out . the room is quite and has a lot of natural light which gives a good vibe.

There are several things that need to be fix and seems like they didn't fix them for long time before. it gave us the feeling that the hotel manager is not dealing with the small details like respected hotels need to.

The location was very practical, because the hotel is 1 min walk from the metro station, it's pretty central and safe at night. The hotel itself was quiet clean and I always slept pretty good (no noise around).

Room cleaning was poor, my room wasn't cleaned every day and towels were changed only two times. If come to breakfast late, there is almost nothing left. The room could be a bit bigger.
