Hotel-Pension Funk am Kurfürstendamm

It’s a charming historical apartment of a very reputed actress in the roaring 20’s Berlin. It’s like traveling in time. Above all: very quiet, very exquisite, very memorable. A place to remember for all life.

It’s a bit of an irony, but the not so good thing of the property is not being twice as full of artistic and historical memories.

We really liked the unique and vintage style of the hotel -it felt like stepping back in time with antique furniture, old-style decor, and a very special atmosphere. The staff/manager was also very friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay even better.

Everything was generally good, but the hotel feels more suitable for a short stay rather than a longer visit. It has everything you need, but the style and setup are better for a brief experience.

Character and charm are abundant. A truly unique stay that is a nice change from cookie cutter hotels. Located in a nice part of town with plenty of dining and cafe options. Highly recommend

The hotel is really a gem, it takes you back to an era and it's something to be able to experience it. The staff made this stay extraordinary. They're kind, helpful, attentive, and so sweet. They offered breakfast, all day coffee/tea. and daily cleanings if needed. The hotel is in a great safe location close to many restaurants, cafes, and whatever amenities you might need. A grocery store is also close by. The hotel is family ran which keeps the property super warm and inviting. Hussein and Abdas were great. My room was quaint and I loved the tall ceilings, beds were fairly comfy if you like them on the firmer side!

There were no toiletry amenities like a shampoo or bodywash which can come in handy for people.--or a hairdryer. Also, no A/c but gratefully the weather was moderate and didn't need it. The upkeep of the place could be a lot better. The room itself was decent and bathroom was clean, however cleanliness of walls, storage, hallways could use a little love. The place is magical that just a little extra love could really do it some justice. Regardless I'm glad I stayed there for the history and experience. Customer service overruled a lot of it's faults.
