It’s a winery in Tuscany, just outside of Florence, what’s not to love…keep reading

Don’t get me wrong the place is decent and the host is a lovely lady, but the mismanagement and lack of care is apparent. Check in started at 3pm and I told her I would be there “BY” 4pm depending on trains and buses. So we show up at 3:15pm and no1 is in sight. This is NOT a hotel it’s a Airbnb and someone needs to show up to check you in. So me and my mom wife and 3 little kids waited for her to show up. The reviews talk about the nice restaurant on the property. Well you have to reserve your dinner or there is no dinner. I was pretty upset and the woman said “well you know it says it in the booking that you can reserve dinner”. I said don’t you think when someone books you can at least send a WhatsApp message with all the details and expectations. She responds, it’s in booking.com. I asked about breakfast, she said the same. I’m kinda fuming by this point lol. I have three little kids and two hungry women I need to feed. She was kind enough to take my wife to the store to go buy some breakfast stuff And snacks and suggested we take a short walk to one of the local restaurants for dinner. Ok things are looking up. In the meantime while my wife is out I take the kids to the pool to relax, to find the pool filled with green algae and broken pieces of terracotta! One of the “workers” pointed it out so that my kids didn’t cut themselves and I asked them to remove it and they all kinda just looked at each other and walked away. The lawn chairs were scattered all over the pool and was completely disorganized. See pictures** Another issue about the property is it is about 250 meters from Florences main highway, which wasn’t expected by the pictures. It’s very loud with big trucks and fast cars zooming by. Not a peaceful poolside experience. Also, bring mosquito repellent. I got about 20 bites in 15 minutes. Alright we can do this, vacation in Tuscany, all is good. My wife gets back and we all get ready to walk to dinner.

There is a barbecue place outside. Pool is great to cool down during hot weather. The place is really old and of course not renovated long time. But will make you feel you are somewhere in the ancient place.

General, not perfectly enough, cleanliness and parts of apartment which can be at least renovated. Linen were ok though.

Ideal place to stay for a few days - easy access to Florence and lovely surroundings for relaxing

Lovely property, very rustic. Could do with some updating but good value for money. Warm welcome. Kitchen facilities basic but enough for our needs. Beautiful surroundings and lovely pool (although the weather wasn't good enough to swim). Easy drive into Florence.

Shower temperature/pressure a little erratic but too hot rather than too cold.

Superb

Wonderful place in the countryside yet still close to Florence and the sites. We would definitely go there again.

Our car's navigator took us on a small narrow road to get there. We later found a much easier way coming from the other side. The kitchen was not large but fine for our needs.

Very nice apartment, nice size rooms and living room, located in beautiful countryside. 10 min drive to shops in nearby town and also close enough to drive into Florence. Lovely big pool.

We booked a room with a washing machine, but the room did not have one. We were allowed to use a washing machine in a common area though.

Good place to visit Firenze

Great location if you want to visit Firenze, just a 5-10 minutes drive away. Great swimming pool to cool down after visiting town. Good food at the restaurant.

Not the best location if you just come for a quiet retreat as a fairly busy road just passes by. And an even busier road is not far away. Best to avoid the breakfast, at 7 Euro PP its not good value for money as the apartments come with a good kitchen.

Very good

The apartment is located in a great house in a wonderful area, with lots of trees and birds singing around. Inside, there are all the facilities you could need for spending a great vacation. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence, only 10minutes drive from Porta Romana. At 5min drive you can find supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

- Awful smell coming from the kitchen cupboard, spreading all over the kitchen and the living area. - They started the heating system only after we called them three times telling them it's too cold in the house. Each time they said the heating "should be working" but in fact the heating was turned off. - They asked a 30 euro tax for check-in at 8 PM instead of 6 PM, the maximum check-in time. That was almost 50% of the cost of one night.

La struttura è molto vicina al casello autostradale e a Firenze Immersa nella natura con grandi spazi verdi, tipica costruzione toscana

L'accoglienza è stata un po' freddina Su booking era proposta la colazione a 7 euro ma solo al nostro arrivo ci è stato detto che non era disponibile Abbiamo pernottato solo una notte e il costo di 20 euro a cane è un po' elevato, considerando che la pulizia non cambia significativamente se c'è un cane o due L'arredamento è tipico ma un po' datato

Accommodatie ligt aan een weg waar vooral 's morgens veel auto's langs komen. Waar je last van kunt hebben.

Auto’s rijden een meter van je bed langs op een doorgaande weg, op deze plek zit ook nog eens een oneffenheid in het asfalt en levert zodoende veel lawaai. Buiten ook veel geluid van de dichtbij gelegen snelweg.

Apartement pratique juste en dehors de Florence

L’appartement était grand, avec deux chambres, et une grande baignoire. La cuisine était équipée avec notamment une nespresso et un frigo.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait que comme ventilateur. De l’eau pourrait etre mis à disposition des clients. La chambre du bas sentait l’humidité/le moisi. La piscine n’était pas en fonction alors qu’il faisait 28 degrés en ce début mai et nous n’avons pas été averti avant. Les enfants étaient déçus.

Teleurstellend

Gezien de positieve recensies hadden wij goede verwachtingen. De locatie nabij Florence is erg fijn. Echter de inrichting van het appartement was zeer donker, erg gedateerd en ook vies. De (verouderde) airconditioning werkte niet goed, waardoor het 's-avonds heel erg warm werd. Er waren heel veel muggen, maar geen horren, hierdoor kon je de ramen niet openzetten. Ook waren er honden bij het zwembad en konden derden gebruik maken van het zwembad. De prijs-kwaliteit is niet in balans. Er is overduidelijk niet geïnvesteerd in een goede gast beleving. Er zijn betere alternatieven in de omgeving van Florence.
