Suites near Piazzale Michelangelo

Everything was great. Honestly, we really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, and there is so much space. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a shared living room and kitchen, and a wonderful private courtyard. The bed linen was crisp, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the towels felt very nice. Everything was very clean. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the internet was super fast. The only thing I would improve is the water pressure, but this is the old town, so I’m not complaining. I would rate this place 9 out of 10.

This location is fabulous, quiet and connected to gardens and green space, and also walkable to the city center. The apartment was easy to get into, no problems with check ins or keys, and the kitchenette in particular was nice and cozy.

The location is very well placed. It is just downhill from Michelangelo Piazza, where tourists often pass by on the way to the hill for sunset at the piazza in the evening. To explore the historic city of Florence, it only takes a 10-minute walk to reach Ponte Vecchio and other nearby attractions.

Nothing. Hopefully next time, the cleaner can inform earlier about bed preparation timing or before check-in.

Positive - the location is excellent and the inital communication from the property was good, courteous and efficant. The area is quiet. The apartment is a good size. It has a gas cooktop but thankfully there is a carbon monoxide detector.

Property looks alot better online than in reality. It's a basement flat. There are bars on all the windows.There is no way out however from the bedroom if there is a fire in the kitchen. Really disappointed in person. When i reported a problem with the sofabed collapsing, I had no response from the host. It was late but the following morning still no response and to date no response. The sofabed you can feel all the springs, it has a screw and bolt missing on one side and kept collapsing. Their was no mattress protector or top sheet and when we pulled the sheet back the matrress was very thin was threadbare full of holes and had a blood stain. It was so old and impossible for my daughter to sleep. The main bed also has no top sheet, mattress protector or pillow protector. Felt uncomfortable. Pillow very cheap ikea and not full size. Curtain half hanging. Rising damp on wall in bedroom. Mold on bathroom floor by shower and right where you are supposed to hang your towels. Modern expresso machine yes nice but no coffee pods, not one capsule. Poor narrow entrance then blocked by large blue bags. Had to squeeze with luggage through to another narrow door. It was extremely hot and no water provided. We have many more photos but booking.com only allows 4. Definately overpriced for quality value ratio. I dont understand how you can you rent a property in this condition and how is there such a high score for this property? I relied on the score when making my booking. I love to give people a 10 score as I know the importance but I won't mislead others.This property given the price with added care for the guests comfort and hygiene could easily be improved. I hope they do for future guests.
