The owner Carlotta greeted us and gave us a tour of her unit. It is a beautiful apartment, stunning views, modern, well equipped, and has a lovely balcony deck area to relax and enjoy life. The location is fantastic. We walked everywhere. Lots of restaurants, close to most of the major tourist attractions I booked it for 2 weeks. Felt like home. The communication with Carlotta was easy thru WhatsApp. She was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer.
I personally did not have an issue because I traveled light. But there is no elevator. It could be difficult for those who cannot walk up many flights of stairs. I saw it as an opportunity to do my daily steps so I could eat all the delicious food in Florence. I am in my mid 60’s and my husband is 70.. it was worth it to us.
