Santa Croce Rainbow

The bedrooms were both a lovely size with good air conditioning. There was a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker and fridge freezer - all were very clean and working well. The host was very helpful and kind and always made herself available. It is a 25 minute walk to the train station. But the location is great for evening bars and food being in the Santa Croce university area. I could imagine some people wanting to be a bit closer to the train station but it worked very well for us. There are a row of good pizza places 3 mins walk away. And we had Florentine steak in Lucignolo (baked after Lampwick from Pinochhio).

The bathroom was quite narrow and didn't benefit from the air conditioning units which were in the two bedrooms. There is a window but the people opposite (including an intrigued elderly lady this morning) can see in. The shower water temperature took ages to adjust. The flow of the water was quite weak but but acceptable.

Great location in the city centre but on a quiet street away from all the noise. The property is very generous in space and has all the amenities we needed (kitchen, fridge, washing machine, clothes iron and board). Host was very welcoming and communication on point. Thank you for having us, definitely recommend!
