Villa Atas Lembongan

Location was superb and very close to dining options. Our hosts Juni and Arim were friendly and helpful and made our stay at the Villa amazing! They assisted us with restaurant recommendations and coordinated snorkeling and scooter hire. They were attentive and made our stay brilliant! The pool was perfect to cool off in the afternoon and bed very comfortable.

The shower was challenging to balance a perfect temperature, but the weather was perfect so not a huge issue.

A really charming villa, set higher up on the hillside to get really great views of jungabatu beach, Bali, and the sunset. Walkable to jungabatu Main Street but a taxi tuk tuk can easily be picked up to save you from walking under the sun. What’s more is that Juni, one of the staff could also taxi us if we needed. The house is authentically Lembongan which is lovely to stay in. Plunge pool (private) is totally gorgeous nestled under the canopy of small trees and plants, and refreshing. It felt like paradise. Arim and Juni looked after us. They have been the best staff we’ve experienced in our two weeks in Bali. They have been so friendly and accommodating. It’s been lovely to get to know them. Thank you Arim and Juni you guys are exceptional.

The authentic build style of the villa means it’s truly open plan with no solid internal walls between each room, or even solid external walls. This means noise is not private. We can hear noise from passers by down the side steps, nearby neighbours, the morning chorus from the birds, and sounds from the sea. At night, the sound of the waves can be loud and interrupted our sleep most nights (but not the children’s). This architecture also means there is no AC. However being from the uk, this doesn’t bother us. I found the evening and night temperatures perfect to sleep in with a fan on low. The ocean breeze really cools the house in the night. So when I stay here again, I’ll pack my ear plugs and eye mask.

Great and friendly hosts, excellent location. Arim and Juni were always available and made our vacation unforgettable. Thank you both again.

Location and views

There are a few stairs. But that comes with a view
