Comfy, authentic German B&B

Quaint and cozy little spot, right next to the train station. It felt like an authentic German experience. The host was super nice for a German person. Room was super clean and quiet. Grocery store and several food options close by. Definitely great value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again!

Would not stay again if you paid me for it!

Located directly next to the train station and bus terminal, therefore easy to reach when arriving by train.

Located directly next to the train station and bus terminal, therefore it is very noisy! No air conditioning, hence the room was very hot and I had to keep windows open all night which made it terribly noisy! I knew that check in was from 4:30pm, but I arrived at 2pm and tried to just drop off my luggage. You had to ring the doorbell that had a camera, but nobody would open. I rang several times and waited for quite a while. Very disappointing! Check out was at 10am and when I was still in my room collecting my stuff at 10:01am the proprietor knocked hard on my door and shouted that I have to be out by 10. I have never experienced anything like it on all my travels around the world. Just shocking. Such unfriendly people!

The worst experience!

This was my worst experience. The owner of the hotel was very rude. The hotel has no reception but you have to wait for the owner to open the door. I asked for a plus pillow, the owner replied that he didn't have one. Shame for a hotel with 20 rooms not to have a plus pillow. I would not recommend it to anyone

We liked the location and breakfast was good.

The room was very hot with only a fan, not sure where to park but staff were helpful. Facilities could be better e.g. no kettle or toiletries.

Spacious, quiet room. Practical location for those just travelling through. Good overall concern for cleanliness and hygiene. Very good (even Michelin) restaurants nearby.

Slightly distant host. Unclear information about parking options. Very typical, though kitschy German decor (great if you like that of course). No elevator.

Overall, very good value for money.

We stopped here for one night on our Rhine hiking holiday. The room was very spacious and despite being close to the centre and train station it was very quiet at night which meant we were able to get a good night’s sleep.

Breakfast was ok but there could have been more variety.

Great value for a convenient single-night stay. Ideal for cyclists.

Very welcoming hosts that also seemed to take corona measures seriously. Everything was spotless and comfortable. With neat decorations around. Our bikes were safely stored in the private garage. Wifi worked with no issues.

Don't expect the greatest location. It's right next to a road that can be noisy.

The Landlord and his wife were very flexible - I arrived several hours before my book in time, nevertheless they welcomed me in, stored my bike somewhere very safe and dry, gave me some suggestions of local tourist attractions, and then gave me his only copy of a German guide book - very generous!

Great Old School Place close to the River

This is one of the good old German hotels along the river road. The rooms are well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a big window so it is full of light and if you open the window fresh air. The shower is hot and has good water pressure. There is a table and chair in the room so you can work if you must. WiFi is fast and worked well. The room was super clean as well! The owner is very friendly and prepares a good breakfast. There is plenty so you will not go hungry. Downstairs is a restaurant and a bar. They have two pool tables as well. A supermarket is about 4 minutes to walk and the river about 6. Lots of shops in the city center that start 3 minutes from the hotel. I love this small family-run places - I would stay there again if passing!

Zu empfehlen! (mit kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlägen)

Der Besitzer war sehr herzlich, sowohl beim Check-in, als auch beim Frühstück. Die Lage ist super für Bahnreisende. In 5 Minuten steht man auf dem Gleis. Dennoch war es trotz des nahen Zugverkehrs nicht laut.

Leider stand kein Shampoo/Duschgel zur Verfügung. Das Bad hat keine Lüftung, sodass auf dem Fensterbrett im Bad schon etwas Wasser stand, als wir kamen. Außen an der Zimmertür befindet sich eine normale Klinke, weshalb man immer abschließen muss, wenn man nicht ungewollten Besuch im Zimmer haben möchte.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett bequem und alles erforderliche war vorhanden und funktionierte. Das Frühstück war ordentlich, der Kaffee schmeckte und es gab eine gute Auswahl. Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof war für mich top, trotzdem ruhig.

Da ich auf der Reise an die Nordsee war, war es für mich super, dass diese Unterkunft direkt am Bahnhof lag. Trotzdem war es ruhig u ich habe gut geschlafen! Top preis-leistungs-Verhältnis!

für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet, besonders, wenn man mit der Bahn reist

das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend. Etwas kompliziert die Öffnungszeiten, wenn man auf An- und Abfahrzeiten der DB angewiesen ist, da das Hotel erst um 16 Uhr 30 öffnet und man schon bis 10 Uhr das Hotel verlassen muss. Wohin mit dem Koffer, im Bahnhof gibt's keine Gepäckaufbewahrung.

Gutes Hotel in perfekter Lage

Das Hotel liegt sehr bequem, direkt am Bahnhof. Ich war mit der Bahn unterwegs und für mich 2ar es ideal, dort zu übernachten.Man kommt schnell 8n die Stadt und man kann vom Bahnhof mit dem Bus zum Maria Laach Kloster kommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ordentlich und sauber.

Ganz klare Buchungsempfehlung für Kurztrip

Sehr sauber, da kann sich manches 4 Sterne Hotel eine Scheibe abschneiden. Auch wenn die Einrichtung old-school ist, hat es Charme. Für kurze Übernachtungszeiten optimal (Städte-Trip). Late-Check In bis 22:00 ist auch Top und nicht die Regel ! Jedezeit wieder !
