The staff were superb. So friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The quality of the breakfast was good too.
Unfortunately, Internet reception was not too good. It was patchy, we passed in and out of it. We also had to sign in every time we came back into the hotel. The TV in the room wasn't of a great standard and the remote was full of sellotape around the back. Quite sub standard.

The hotel was fabulous, extremely clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and warm , the food in hotel restaurant was amazing.
The room was extremely warm and the window didn’t open so it was stuffy at times . This hotel is in the heart of town and the street outside was very busy into the early hours so not suitable if quiet is what’s wanted .

The location, staff and food was brilliant
It’s been a while since I stayed here and I just thought that hotel itself has become very dated, we stayed in room 205 which could seriously be doing with a makeover, torn wallpaper isn’t a great look and the carpet on the floor just looks like it needs replacing, I think there was only one double socket and a single socket for your use with no usb charge points anywhere, when the toilet was flushed it made a noise that could only be likened to a trombone but that was only the start of the issue with the toilet, it then began backing up on the morning of check out which I did inform the receptionist, so not being able to use the toilet in your own room and relying on using the public toilet in the bar area was very disappointing, but I’m guessing we were not the only room to have this issue as from about 6 in the morning onwards you could literally hear other rooms flushing their toilets with same irritating noise so not exactly a restful nights sleep was had.
