Highlight of our trip to Montenegro!

Loved everything! This experience was a highlight of our trip to Montenegro & our 3 kids loved it! The apartment was clean and spacious and super comfortable and new - no complaints! Darko is an amazing host and the work he is doing to run a sustainable farm and donkey rescue is so impressive. We learned so much on our trip and the kids loved spending time with the donkeys. We were able to help clean their stalls one day, which my kids loved. We had a farm fresh breakfast each morning under grapevines & it was simply perfect! Darko even recommended a nearby river spot with incredibly clean water & a rope swing - which felt like an insider secret away from the crowds. Can’t recommend this place enough!

A Memorable.Visit

A meaningful experience, a great.idea put into practice.by Mr. Saveljic. You don't get to visit with rescued animals every day and see them happy and content like you do there at the donkey farm in Martinici. The accommodations, the food and the hospitality by Mr.Saveljic and his gracious parents made our visit memorable. Highly recommended!

Donkeys paradise, for all animal lovers

The donkeys make the whole experience worthwhile, and so do the dogs Hans and Blackie. Also how this project is run with ecology as the highest priority is simply inspiring. Darko makes it all sound so effortless but I'm sure a lot of hard work goes into it!

Nothing really disappointed us. Even when the airco unit in one room died on us, it was not really an issue.

Special Place

Everything about the place is as if you were visiting your family for a weekend, if your family happened to own a charming donkey farm. Home made wine, dinner with the hosts (if you're as lucky as we were), and amazing views of the countryside. Really a special experience, not just a room to stay in. It's my favorite story to tell about our honeymoon.

We had an amazing time at the donkey farm! Darko and his family are extremely nice and warm-hearted people. They teach you everything about the donkeys and you can feed and cuddle them. On the farm are a lot of fruit trees like figs, grapes or kaki and we had the chance to plug and eat them. We also got the chance to be part of the family dinner where we ate homemade food, cooked by their grandma. The rooms are well equipped with kitchen and terrace and are very clean and cosy. All in all an unforgettable experience and highly recommendable!

Ein super Erlebis, das im positivsten Sinne unter die Haut geht und ich unbedingt wieder erleben möchte, da ich es - tro

Wohnen direkt neben den Eseln und diese von der Terrasse des Zimmers, was eigentlich schon ein Apartment mit Terrasse ist, mitten in einem kleinen Wäldchen und deshalb angenehmer Temperatur, zu beobachten. Was alles für die Tiere getan wird. Das wir von den super guten Feigen und Weintrauben beliebig essen durften. Ein super herzlich und frisch zubereitetes Frühstück mit eigenen Produkten und sogar auch fürsorglich auf Wünsche eingegangen wurde. Nette und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Gute zentrale Lage in Montenegro, auch für Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen.

Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Kombination zwischen Nähe zu den Tieren, einer schönen Farm und sehr, sehr netten Gastgebern macht es zu einem Erlebnis und MUSS für alle Eselliebhaber.

Eine gute Zeit mit 80 Eseln :)

Ein sehr liebevoll geführter Betrieb. Darko war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Besonders gefallen hat uns seine Einstellung und sein achtsamer Umgang mit Natur und Umwelt. Die ganze Familie und auch der Hund Hans sehr sympathisch. Das selbstgemachte Frühstück mit Zutaten aus der Farm war wunderbar. Wir durften auch selbst Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten ernten. Die Esel sind absolut zum Verlieben. Unbedingt einen Sack Karotten o. Ä. mitbringen, die Esel freuen sich sehr darüber.

Ein wunderbares Esel-Er-Leben

Urlaub auf einer Eselfarm, einfach ein Traum. Hier durften die Esel auch nachts iahen, egal. Es passte alles, die Gastfreundschaft, der ökologische Anbau, Wasser aus dem Brunnen. Wir durften durch den Garten schlendern, die Früchte ernten und natürlich auch die Esel füttern und streicheln. Der Schäferhund Hans rundet das Ganze ab. Frischgebackene Krapfen zum Frühstück, selbst hergestellte Marmeladen, frisch zubereiteter Käse vom Nachbarn. Hier funktioniert das Miteinander. Ein tolles Konzept, eine tolle Farm. Vielen Dank für dieses nachhaltige Erlebnis.
