Fabulous Old Chapel

A lovely 16th century Chapel, located in a Hamlet. Quiet, with beautiful views from the patio area. The Chapel has everything you might need, comfy bed, wood fired burner, bath and downstairs toilet The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Would highly recommend *****

Quiet, peaceful rejuvenating retreat.

Had a great week getting out of the city, the contrast was just what I needed. The chapel has a beautiful design using the space brilliantly. Everything was easy welcoming and straightforward. I don’t drive so was a bit of a trek to nearest shop but that was kind of what I wanted. Would definitely return.

It was the perfect getaway.

The cottage was lovely and cosy with fairy lights and a log burner. The location was fairly good, about a 5-10 minute drive from local amenities. The owner greeted us with her 6 dogs which was nice, she left us homemade tarts and a bottle of wine. It truly was a perfect little getaway.

Lovely and characteristic chapel, nicely rebuilt. Beautiful view (bird feeder and thus lots of birds in the garden, binoculars and bird book in the window to enjoy their diner :)) and surroundings. Parking spot in front of the door. Friendly host who left us wine and pies

Minor thing: the shower head is due to the low/sloping ceiling hanging quite low + no shower curtain = wet bathroom

Quiet place to relax.

A genuinely quirky property*, a former Methodist chapel in a idyllic quiet location with amazing views, an outside table and chairs and lovely owners who live in the farm next door. We will be back. *as featured on Homes under the hammer tv show apparently.

Wow what an amazing place, Mary was the perfect host we were gifted wine and homemade bakewell tart which was amazing. Even grabbed 6 freshly laid eggs which were delicious 😋

Everything about the Old Chapel was amazing. Beautiful place with beautiful views. Very friendly owners and a few friendly dogs. Couldn’t have asked for anything more as the place had everything needed.

Lovely quiet stay in a romantic converted chapel.

Everything we needed was available at the property. Lighting the log fire on a cold winter's night in the middle of the countryside was fantastic.

Great Weekend Away

Absolutely lovely property. So nice to light up the log fire and sit back and watch tv. Thoroughly enjoyed the few days here and will hopefully return later in the year
