The property is in a good location, Matlock and surrounding areas are so beautiful.

Good location, most things catered for.

A bit small and cramped, dim lighting Cold when arrived, no heating on. The studio was dirty, really needs addressing

A good stay, just tone down the rules info a bit.

Quirky, different, well equipped, comfortable, good value.

Prior written instructions from the owner felt overly strict and unwelcoming, and excessive emphasis on their live video surveillance of our comings and goings felt creepy.

A clever set up, a short walk from Matlock. Very cosy.

It's a really clever set up, and beautifully decorated. It's a short distance from Matlock. It's tiny, but had everything we needed, although a few more glasses would be a good idea.

A very minor detail - we couldn't access our Netflix account, but this wasn't a major issue! We couldn't close the blinds, but the proprietor had mentioned in the file that she would pop over and sort if we needed help.

What a lovely surprise this was to walk in, it actually brought a smile to my face after a long day. Cosy and comfortable, very nicely furnished and decorated and every detail thought about. Spotlessly clean too. Perfect for my needs.

Straight away you felt relaxed and welcome. How much was fitted into such a compact space. Perfect for a couple. So clean.

Unfortunate

Location - Quirky Decor

The property had not been cleaned. Used towels, used bedding, bins full of rubbish etc. We called the owner on the number on Booking.Com & listed within the property - 07947 586060. This went to voicemail that said to send a text. We left voicemails and texts and had no response back. We eventually had success via email and spoke with Owner the next morning. Owner called us from a different number to above. Owner admitted she had arranged to clean the wrong property (she has 3 in Matlock). Owner admitted fault and said she would compensate us for these problems. We have been chasing owner now for over 3 weeks for compensation payment. Some responses received, saying will act but nothing yet and Owner now no longer responding to emails.

A little cosy home from home

What a fantastic place to stay didn't want to come home .Loved the decorations and the attention to detail was fantastic Was so relaxing and truly peaceful .Brilliant sun trap at the front and close to all amenities. Will definitely going back as such a wonderful weekend away

I really enjoyed my stay in Sharron's lovely, comfortable studio. Highly recommended.

Fabulous studio with everything you need for a perfect stay. Host, Sharron sent very clear and concise instructions beforehand as to how to get the keys from the lockbox outside and what was included in the accommodation. I was able to get into the studio without any problems and felt extremely safe there throughout my stay. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable with lovely furnishings throughout. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great and the kitchen was perfect with everything you needed to make your own meals. Plenty of nice crockery, cutlery & glasses etc. I loved the breakfast bar with stools and the very comfortable round leather sofa with footstool. The TV and internet was perfect and I felt really at home. Ample space to hang and store clothes. Extremely good use of all space available in the studio. Will definitely stay again and highly recommended if you want to explore and do walking etc in Matlock and the surrounding areas. Not far from the town centre, station and bus connections. Perfect stay with all the facilities for a night stay after a long day in the Peak District

It was perfect for a one night stay! We originally planned to eat out for dinner however after a long day of walking we decided to stay in and use the kitchen facilities which was perfect. Just what we needed!!! Love the decoration and design inside

Nothing, all was great! If I had to be picky, one of the blinds on sky lights above bed wasn’t quite shut so let in light early - but me and partner are early risers so was not a big deal for us

The property was lovely, exactly what was needed for our short stay, the owners provided everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. The garden area was a big bonus, being able to sit out in the sunshine, fenced off and private was a God send.

Nothing major, just the crack in bathroom floor tile, we were a little concerned it wasn't safe underfoot even though a bath mat had been placed over it, would recommend getting it replaced for safety.

Lovely little self contained space in a good location for exploring Matlock. Everything you need was supplied, even a pint of milk in the fridge.

Very steep driveway to get to property. Tough going at the end of the night after a few beers.

Sharron was very friendly and helpful and offered good suggestions for local restaurants and things to visit in the area. The propertly was in a great location for us to visit the local attractions. An easy walk into town and a safe and quiet place to stay.

Really sweet

It was really sweet Garage conversion, with the space maximised to the full and decorated beautifully...I really liked it.

I couldn't easily find the wi-fi password in the welcome pack but I am sure the lady would have given me the code easily enough if I had called her but it should have been more prevalent in the front of the welcome pack. I used my own phone data to go online of which the reception was fine.

Cute little break

Loved the coziness of this little retreat. Tucked away from the busy road and nice and quiet. Fully equipped with everything you would need for a few days away even has a dishwasher. Although we Just used the sink to wash up. Shower very powerful and it had towels for us to use..

There was just a few things that need looking at. The light on the left hand side of the bed kept flickering so we couldn't use that. The shower hose needs a good scrub, it had red limescale all over it. Fire alarm is very sensitive. Didn't even burn the toast but it kept going off. The skyline windows were leaking after having alot of rain. One was leaking on top of the fridge and the other on the bed. So we got a bit wet during the night. Also when we arrived we got a message about 45 mins to turn off the outside light. I felt we were constantly being watched. It is an economic friendly place and the owners want to help the planet, but to get a text after just arriving and finding our feet we thought was a bit off putting. But nevertheless we did have a great time and would definitely come again

Weekend stay

Lovely studio in a great location only a very short walk into Matlock. Nice decor, very comfy bed, great kitchen facilities, bonus of a private outdoor space with lovely hand crafted furniture & hanging fairy lights. Good WiFi & smart TV. Parking space right outside. Lockbox check in. Great communication via message from host. Useful guide book to help with facilities. Velux windows are lovely for star gazing at bedtime! Quiet & peaceful. Nice touches from host, fresh milk, ice in the freezer & tea, coffee, biscuits to welcome us.

Nothing to dislike. Constructive feeback: To make this a 10/10 stay ... dust the ceiling fan & top of bead head, other than that, everything else spotless. Only other small issues, sliding bathroom door very heavy & hard to open & close. Shower head does not stay up, just needs tightening. Rather than a shelf next to the fridge, possibly have another chair or change the chair for a small sofa. None of this detracted from our stay & we wouldn't hesitate to book again or recommend to others.
