Low Mill Guesthouse

Neil and Jane were great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the river. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, breakfast was really good.

Host was a little off with us when we arrived. We arrived after a 5 and a half hour motorcycle journey and got there bang on the check in time cut off due to being held up. All the other guests got tea and cake on arrival but we didn't. There was a bit of attitude that made us feel a little uneasy. All the other reviews were great so we put it down to an off day and moved on. Everyone is allowed an off day now and again and you don't know what else is going on in peoples lives that may effect their mood on any given day. No one else seems to have ever mentioned this so must be us!

Fantastic breakfast, welcoming hosts, dog friendly. Excellently placed for all the places we wanted to visit. Good guidance from hosts on eating venues, places to visit. Lovely, relaxing stay.

The mattress on the bed was much too soft for a bad back. So though absolutely everything else was brilliant, we unfortunately won’t be going again as my back simply could not manage another night. Had to pile cushions on to the mattress in order to manage to support my back enough in order to sleep at all.
