The relaxed atmosphere, which is what you need when taking a break from busy lives. The food was excellent. The views from the terrace garden were superb

The breakfast was really nice, I like salmon, spinach and eggs, so I had the Eggs Royal every day and the coffee was fine. The view whilst we were having our meals was really good.
The staff were very helpful regarding suggestions of places to visit.
A few small items:-
The shower in our room (number 5) didn't have much pressure, also there was a knack to locking the door and the bathroom didn't have a socket to charge our toothbrushes.
There were a few leaks, ie ingress of rain, but old buildings do leak (we've got one).

The breakfast was excellent
The location was marvellous
The out side area was very run down, the entrance door for guests was dirty with marks all over it, not a great way to welcome guests,
