The views and location with historic vibe
The dinner was enjoyable, but in my opinion it was overpriced for what it was. The presentation of the dishes was very good, and the waiter was exceptional.
However, I was disappointed with the breakfast. I expected more options, and I didn’t understand why you can’t choose your own coffee. The breakfast itself was not to my liking, and the service could be improved, as I had to repeatedly ask for the table to be cleared in order to have more space.

The whole ambiance of the building, my style completely. It felt like being home but in a grander way. The staff were all very polite and welcoming and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. We stayed for dinner as it was a celebration stay and the food was delicious, seated in a cosy spot by a glowing fire. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was fresh, clean, perfectly cooked and delicious. The views overlooking the misty moors in February, from the comfortable cosy interiors of this 17th century hall, were stunning. Time stood still for 24 hours. We hope to return again.
