It was very quaint. The staff were very friendly. Very comfy bed. Nothing was too much trouble.
The room was far too hot on arrival. Didn’t care for the extra stairs in the room.

Staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive and efficient. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with lovely lighting and furnishings

The Spa is lovely and staff friendly.
Treatment was lovely
Lunch was lovely as was breakfast. Food really fresh and beautifully cooked
Grounds are beautiful and the hotel is done out beautifully inside
No treatment spaces left in the spa when we arrived so could only get a massage the next morning before check out despite phoning beforehand to see if pre booking was necessary and told that it wasn't.
No keys left for male lockers
Unable to get room service for evening meal unless it was ordered at a designated time of 7.15pm. Find it hard to believe the entire restaurant was full ALL evening and the kitchen couldn't stretch to an extra 2 meals. We ordered a dominoes instead.
We would have had treatments on both days and an evening meal too but it's like they dont want your business. They need to be more accommodating to guests and in turn make you feel more welcome
