The Crown

This property is a great central Location and a 5 minute walk from Wensleydale creamery, right on the front street with ample parking at nearby fish shop and front of hotel.

The stair carpet was off putting as it must get a lot of foot fall and was grubby.

A lovely clean room and comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent.

I couldn't get the TV to work as it stated "no signal/WiFi.

The location was great .the staff were very freindly and helpfull .we visited the wenesleydale creamery which was only a few minutes walk away .the town is lovley with such a wonderfull drive in and out and surrounded by stunning views .the breakfast was very good aswell .

When we booked in we were told that there had been a burst pipe in our room so we were moved to the pub next door .we went next door and were greated by a freindly lady who showed us to our room and explained breakfast times etc .the room was ok .a decent size with tea and coffee etc .we than noticed that we had no hand soap and shower gel dispenser was empty .we had to ask the lady for some .when we got back on the evening we fancied a cup of tea .I than noticed that although there was tea and coffee there was no milk .as the pub was now closed I had to go to the crown next door to ask for some milk .the younge girl in there came next door and gave me some milk and appologised for the mix up .when we left the next morning some of the other room doors were open so we looked in .these rooms looked ready for the next customers with milk coffee tea etc .maybe because our room in the crown had a burst pipe they may not of been ready for us next door .

Ok food good choice
