This could not have been a more perfect match for my needs. Fabulous scenery, lovely accommodation, delicious and varied cuisine and, best of all, top notch staff! The location was ideal to explore the Dales. Traveling solo I found the area safe and comfortable. The Stone House staff made it feel like home!
Everything. The room was just as I needed: comfortable and clean. The grounds were beautiful. The on premises restaurant was fantastic. I wound up taking every breakfast and every dinner there.

We stayed in a cozy king + conservatory with a door straight out onto the lawn, which we highly recommend having a dog. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

We loved the snug room with fire place.
We were told on arrival that the only time left available for us to have breakfast was 8am which was very early! This was on both mornings.
Extremely small room, was not comfortable at all.
