    Excellent stay @ Tan Inn, Richmond for our anniversary on arrival the room was spotless with a bottle of procesco for us, our meal/ the staff was 10 out 10 will defo go back

    Been to this pub but never stayed over- fanatic palaver stay- cosy fires and log burner in bedroom- fab food and a lovey walk this morning

    The Tan Hill Inn is in an exceptional location in the middle of nowhere surrounded as far as the eye can see with meadows and hills. The staff were attentive and polite and there is a fine selection of beers. The food is very scrummy and well presented to a high standard. There are two log open fires and the bedroom heating was good. The only observation I would make is the stair carpet up to the rooms is very dirty and so was the landing carpet which needs ripping up and a new industrial carpet down.

    Second time staying here, not disappointed, will return. Thursday night buskers were fantastic.
