Calming landscaping, comfortable bed.
Bathroom is outdated, not so clean, badly stained floor and moldy corners, and needs a total upgrade. I booked 2 rooms and both had water clog on the floor of the shower cubicle, leaving no choice but to shower in the bathtub. One of the showers in the bathtub wasn't working well, can't adjust the tap to shower spray. Bathroom sink is designed for a tall person. There is no shelve nor hook for clean clothes.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, they even surprised me during breakfast for my birthday! :)
The hotel is beautiful with lots of plants and flowers that attract butterflies. It's about a 20-minute walk to the beach or a short Grab ride away. The room was very spacious and comfortable.
The free shuttle to the beach at 11am was not useful for us, I'd recommend to add a shuttle at 9am as well.
One day, they also fumigated to control the pests . I hope they change it to a more environmentally friendly solution, since the chemicals will affect other animals and insects (like butterflies) and it's not pleasent at all for people to smell that. Even 2 hours later, we could still smell the poisson in the air.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. the room was large and had a rustic look about it. with mosquito nets etc... which made it look idyllic. only thing is it was a bit far from the shops etc... as opposed to big resorts, I felt like I was in a tropical island and i loved it.
I liked everything. the rustic environment, the staff, the food and the room which was very comfortable

The villa was very beautiful and it was quiet
The shower sprayed water all over the floor. My breakfast plates were left at the front of my villas door for multiple days- I had to ask staff to clear them but staff were the ones that moved them there.
