Hotel Santika Siligita Nusa Dua

The location was excellent. I liked that the Coco Supermarket was next door, and it was well located in Nusa Dua, which is a beautiful area for long stretches of sandy beaches. The poolside breakfast was a very extensive buffet of all types of foods, with many tasty Indonesian options, including a lot of vegetarian foods and interesting desserts and fresh fruit juices. Everything was professional and clean, and the staff were very helpful.

The pool, while beautiful, was located directly next to the restaurant. So while this provided a beautiful setting for the restaurant, it didn't feel private and inviting for swimming, other than perhaps for families with small children. Fortunately there are no shortages of beautiful beaches nearby for swimming.

Location of the hotel was good. The staff were very good. The hotel itself is a little bit dated and rough around the edges. The food? Just about OK, evening food leaves a lot to be desired the breakfast was passable.

Fitness area was very poor, just a couple of basic machines and no weights.

The overall experience at this hotel was very poor and disappointing. The hotel advertises that kids stay free, which is misleading. Children are not provided with a bed or breakfast unless you pay extra, and the additional charges are overpriced. Even after paying, no daily bottled water is provided for the extra child in the room. Our room was unpleasantly smelly and directly next to an external building site that started work at 8am, including on Christmas Day. To make matters worse, the hotel itself began renovations to rooms directly below us, meaning we were subjected to constant drilling and hammering on top of the external construction noise. Staff appear to have no authority to resolve even basic issues and must constantly “check with management” somewhere out of sight. Simple requests take excessive effort. On most mornings, we had to ask two or three times just to have a breakfast table cleared and reset, and obtaining a coffee often required finding it ourselves. The pool maintenance is also concerning. There is a sign displaying the water condition, but it never changes, which is unrealistic given the number of guests using the pool, most wearing sunscreen, and gardeners regularly trimming trees and allowing debris to fall into the water. A broken pool light was reported, and after seven days it still had not been repaired. Imagine a child reaching in and pulling the electric cable...... Overall, the hotel is poorly managed, noisy, and fails to deliver on what it advertises. I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed at this hotel for two days and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — very convenient and close to everything; it’s an affordable hotel with a very reasonable price for the quality offered. The breakfast was varied and offered a good selection for different tastes.

Very politely mentioning a couple of small points for improvement: the room felt a bit humid, which slightly affected the overall comfort. Also, as we were staying as two guests, it would have been nice to have two sets of disposable toothbrushes provided, as only one was placed in the room
