So good we came back again.

This was our 2nd stay in 2 years at Renaissance. We stayed for 15 nights this time. We absolutely love the big clean rooms and balcony overlooking the pools. The beds are so comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and plenty of choices to cater for everyone. Chef Andre went out of his way to accommodate us at breakfast and also in the lovely Steak house on site where we ate 3 times it was so good. Our 7 year old loved the kids club so much we couldn’t get her out of there. All the staff (Erin & Puspa) in the kids club are just incredible. The gym is well equipped and kept very clean and tidy. The Spa on site is fantastic too. We had many massage treatments whilst staying there. The staff cannot do enough for you. We’ll no doubt be back again.

There nothing we don’t like but only noticed the normal wear and tear of the Sun-beds around the pool area weren’t as fresh looking as when we were there 20 months ago.

An enjoyable stay that exceeded our expectations.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities were excellent. Everything was clean and well maintained. The food was amazing! There was a great variety of food and the restaurants which catered for us especially halal. The location was perfect and having the shuttle bus to Bali Collection and beach was great. Thank you to the drivers. Everything exceeded our expectations — from the service to the facilities. We would definitely come back!

Very enjoyable, I highly recommend the resort.

Very clean, lots of free activities at the resort like yoga, steam room, sauna. Loved the free shuttle to Bali collection and their beach facility. All staff very friendly kind and polite. The buffet breakfast was great lots of variety. Special mention to chef Andre.

Plastic cups by the pool made the drinks (mainly alcohol) taste average. Room fridge tiny, unable to put anything extra in.

It was perfect holiday with family

Property has the lovely ambience, nice restaurants and very friendly and lovely people to look after us. Especially Srinadi was caring and supportive throughout the stay. Thanks for the hospitality and warmth.

Everything is great except for the entrance

The staffs - Lalita, Irany and the team are making us extremely welcome! Thank you. Also, we love the Lionx asian breakfast, and it will be great if can extend longer so that it will reduce the load for backstage breakfast

The entrance to hotel. If coming after dark, it is too hard to find if no GPS at all. Also, the road into hotel is so dark that driving can be challenging as the road is abit windy. May find a little surprise when a motor bike come from nowhere...

Best Vacation Ever

Best vacation ever!!! We have been many beach vacation with little girl but this was the best! Staffs were kind everywhere. Especially kids club was absolutely amazing. Ibu Cantika & Ibu Ida & Ibu Puspa - other more amazing staff in Kids club- daily awesome programs & super actively engaged with all the kids in the playground. And the bed linen quality was superior! And swimming pools were amazing to relaxed. Steakmith? Backstage - both food & serivce were awesome! We definately will come back to stay for next trip to Bali!!

If you want a big room with lots of pools, renaissance is a great option. Unlike other large chains, such as Alana, renaissance offers amazing family rooms. The room was also exceptionally clean. the room had fantastic beds, with a nice bathtub and amazing shower. The balcony provided a nice view of the trees, and the cleaners were exceptional at their job.The pools were huge, with fun activities on around the clock. Some activities included: - Balinese dance -boxing -aqua gym - cycling. There was also a nice and simple gym, with all of the basics. There are also kids activities, so you can leave your kids at the activities hub (lava land), and then run of to do whatever you want. The food there was amazing, with Chinese food, international food, and even a grill house. They also served food like ice cream and prawn crackers. The Backstage had the best food, however, we recommend you bring your food nextdoor, as there was no aircon in the backstage restaurant.One of the most unique things about Bali hotels in general is the fact that they turn on the aircon before you arrive. Wish we stayed there longer!

not much. Maybe just the weather. Do not be fooled! Even if it is raining, it is still around 32 degrees.Also the free WIFI was also terrifying. Don’t know if it was just bad luck, but it was really slow. I’m guessing that the rain might have slowed it down.

Great Place For Relaxing Family Holidays

The hotel itself is grand and spread across a huge area of beautifully maintained gardens, multiple swimming pools, restaurants and a spa, among other things. The morning breakfast at the backstage restaurant was simply superb with a wide range of cuisines ranging from Indian food like Poha, vermicelli upma, curries, live dosa and omelette counter to freshly cut fruits, juices, flavoured yoghurts, cheese and Indonesian delights like Nasi goreng. The bakery section was full of a wide variety of breads, muffins, croissants, cakes, pastries, tarts, a crepe counter and doughnuts. Also available were freshly made smoothies, juices and milkshakes. The kids' swimming pool, infinity pool and jungle pool were awesome, and our kids loved it. Also, the Lava land was a very useful facility where the kids are engaged in various activities while grown -ups can relax. We booked two twin deluxe rooms with a nice garden view, and the room service was prompt. Plenty of areas to chill and take photos. Also, they have an hourly free shuttle to take you to the beach and the Bali Collection shopping centre, which was nice.

The hotel doesn't have a laundry room, which we are so used to in Australia. Although it does provide paid laundry service, it is priced per piece, which is highly inconvenient. I would rather have it based on per kg, like at other places we stayed. Also, during the check-out, the staff told us that the cold drinks and the other stuff in the refrigerator are not complimentary, which is highly unusual as we assumed whatever was in the room was free to use. Apparently, it is mentioned in the policy, but in my opinion should have been displayed in bold letters in the room to avoid any confusion. Although they kindly exempted us from paying for that stuff, I would be very careful next time about what is complimentary and what is not. For breakfast at Backstage, it was extremely hot and humid, and they should put more blowers or air-conditioning so that people can enjoy the food peacefully. Even sitting outside near the pool didn't help.

Fantastic hotel, a bit away from the action

The staff are so polite and helpful. Special mention for Jonni in the backstage restaurant and Budhi one of the minibus drivers. The hotel is really luxurious with fantastic facilities and beautiful landscaped grounds. I spoke to Dy, one of the managers about our feedback and she listened to the points I raised and organised a complimentary transfer to the airport. Which was a really nice touch.

The hotel is a distance from the resort and you are limited to the hourly minibus service or getting a taxi yourself. It is not really walkable. We did find a lot of the local restaurants do offer a courtesy taxi service free of charge. The food at the hotel restaurants is very good value but the lack of evening entertainment meant we preferred to find alternative places to go. A lot of the local restaurants have a guitarist playing which we really like. The breakfast buffet has a great selection but we found the food to be luke warm. Lack of a range of speciality tea in the room, other hotels we have stayed in offer earl grey, lemon and green tea.

An excellent value resort.

Check in was smooth and prior staff communication clear. Location was convenient, a gentle 15 minute downhill walk to the main street, with a great shuttle and cheap taxis when needed. Our room was excellent: spacious, quiet, well equipped, with a great bath for the kids and a decent balcony. The overall resort atmosphere was peaceful, with beautiful well kept gardens. The spa was top level (best massage of my life) and the gym facilities were very good. The beach club was relaxing with plenty of shade, and the restaurants were outstanding, especially the breakfast selection. The manager also went above and beyond when I needed medical help, which was very appreciated. We had a wonderful stay with our toddlers and would happily return.

The main pools were lovely with good bar service, but shade was a real issue, the fixed umbrellas just don’t cover the loungers properly. The cabanas were good. The kids’ pool area needs maintenance, the tiles were slippery and generally worn. Kids club staff were fantastic, though the facilities themselves were cramped and dated.

A relaxing, terrific stay at the beautiful resort Renaissance at Nusa Dua.

Renaissance was amazing! So good, we will be back! The staff are plentiful, friendly and easy to recognise with their attire. The resort is kept immaculately clean. Big shout out to the many backstage crew (where breakfast and dinner is served) for keeping tables cleared and cleaned promptly. There is also a Chinese restaurant, seafood and a new steakhouse. All of these served delicious food, with outstanding staff. I also liked that they bring a small basket of nibbles when you are seated. Breakfast one of the best I have seen, nothing overlooked. (Even Vegemite) There are 3 main pools to choose, the main one having a bar, plus a kids pool. All warm pools! Our executive room was luxurious and spacious with a great balcony with a day bed and was cleaned promptly daily. One outstanding staff member Suli from the bar upstairs was friendly, proficient, accommodating and very good at her job. The day spa/gym was a 3 min. walk from the resort, so it was private and quiet. Staff also good there. I also liked that they had a couple of desks to go for information or to book your spa treatments without standing in line at reception. Congratulations Renaissance on an outstanding upmarket resort.

We had a tiny issue with a drill going from 9am until 5.20pm. We understand that works have to be done, but at 5pm when I really wanted to relax on my balcony, It was getting a bit much. 4pm would be a reasonable time to complete works and maybe a note to advise guests would be polite. Duty Manager was apologetic and kindly offered us a free afternoon tea the next day, which was a lovely gesture. Thankyou. The main Pool bar staff could maybe walk around “all” pools to see if drinks/food were needed on a regular basis.

All of the food was fantastic, didn’t have a single bad meal. The pool side bar atomic 17 is great, all of the staff are amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best. The ladies in R bar also amazing. All of the staff and the steaksmith and lion X, again fantastic. Great Gym and health spa facilities. Love how tidy the whole resort is.

Perfect for families, amazing facilities and customer service.

The hotel, facilities and our rooms were amazing! Modern, well kept and great room service. Perfect for our family with our toddler enjoying the kids club and pools. The customer service the hotel was world class and really appreciated staff such as Leo in the Backstage kitchen and Yohanes Arbita in check out. Highlights were the jungle pool, breakfast, kids club, room service, gym and the amazing staff.

Food was inconsistent, sometimes good other times bad. Drinks and juices can be better. Would appreciate it if Beans can be served every breakfast instead of on and off. Would like if the shuttle bus can be every 30 minutes instead of every hour to avoid long waits and not getting space on the bus. Hotel should work with other hotels and local government to clean up the peninsular beach as we saw a lot of rubbish in the beach at low tide.

Spotlessly clean and very spacious room. The staff were very welcoming especially the lady who checked me in. I would very happily stay again.

The food was not great from room service, no glass provided for the canned drink I ordered meaning I had to drink from a coffee mug. Breakfast was not of the quality for a 5 star hotel. However the overall stay was very pleasant.

Amazing! Everything you expect and more!

The room was simply amazing, in excellent condition, clean and well designed. Loved the balcony and views of the room. My wife and little one loved the hotel and it was perfect for a family. Could not recommend it more! The pools were all great and the gym was great.

I found the check in underwhelming and not to the level of other 5 star hotels I’ve been too. Didn’t like that we had to go find our room ourselves after check in. Would have excepted to be taken/shown to our room.

Really unexpected pleasant surprise, best hotel we stayed at in Bali!

The room was fantastic! Two huge beds and just so stylish and gorgeous. The bath in the main room was super fun. Beautiful room. Food was also just wow! Best restaurants, pool food, even had 5* room service! Really outstanding best hotel food we had in Bali. Kids club was also great, the staff were all so lovely my 7 year old said no to leaving several times. The beach was also SO close, max 5 minutes with shuttle every hour. Nice beds there all waiting so it was almost like we were directly on the beach.

The pool temperate was lovely, but the kids pool being on a separate floor and away from main pool wasn’t great. Also the kids pool was really for toddlers and babies. My 7 year old could have done with a tad more entertainment in the main pool.
