All low level Beautiful grounds well maintained Local to places to eat, drink, beach , lovely beach bar belonging to the hotel Ioanna & Liana who worked within hotel reception were such lovely girls … so polite, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and was generally interested about us as guests

For 5* hotel I’d expect there to be ironing facilities in the rooms … instead was told could use iron as quickly as possible and then leave outside the room!

However, whenever we requested something that fell outside the hotel’s very strict policies, the staff didn’t seem to know how to handle it differently and chose not to be flexible. This was disappointing, as it ultimately affected the overall guest experience. There are situations where a little flexibility can make a big difference. For example, we were celebrating a birthday and asked to sit at one of the tables at the far end of the breakfast area so we would disturb the other guests as little as possible. Our request was declined because “they don’t reserve tables.” While we understand the policy, this felt like an unnecessary example of rigidity that did not contribute to a warm or enjoyable atmosphere.

The hotel’s modern design may appeal to some guests, but it wasn’t to our taste. The dominant grey and black color palette felt too dark and didn’t capture the bright Mediterranean character we associate with Greece. We also found the room to be quite small.

Beautiful Hotel, Disappointing Experience I stayed at this hotel for two nights. At first glance, everything looked amazing – the design, the vibe, the promise of luxury. But the reality didn’t match the expectations. The room wasn’t properly cleaned, we never got towels unless we asked repeatedly, and the TV didn’t work until someone came to fix it. The outdoor pool was freezing and not really usable. The biggest issue was with breakfast. It was supposed to be included, but we were offered a “floating breakfast” by the pool for an extra €15 – which we agreed to. At checkout, I was surprised to find a €20 charge for that, plus another €50 charge for an extra breakfast we never agreed to. When I asked, instead of listening or showing any understanding, the guest relations manager spent nearly an hour explaining why I “misunderstood” their emails. There was zero empathy and no attempt to make things right. I left feeling like the hotel saw me as a credit card, not a guest. The whole experience left a bad taste. Tip to the hotel: try listening to your guests. Respect their time, their money, and their experience. Sadly, I won’t coming back..
