A lovely stay with welcoming hosts, we had the most memorable experience.

From the moment we arrived at Locanda Rosati, we felt like we were being welcomed into a family home. Although we arrived quite late, we were accommodated with light food and delicious wine by a staff that were incredbily gracious and kind. The room was a good size with plenty of space in the bathroom as well. Dining with other guests was a fun experience and the food was delicious. Giampiero and the entire team made an already splendid experience even better.

There is nothing we did not enjoy about our stay.

Locanda Rosati has everything to make your holiday an unforgettable event.

This is an agritourist as it should be. Warm inviting people, clean rooms, a beautiful garden with swimming pool and an amazing house. We had a dinner at a long table with all the guests. We drank wine, ate a fantastic dinner and made new friends. What do you want more?

The wifi didn’t work, what was quite annoying. The douchecabins are too small.

Really didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely fantastic. Exceptionally welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was amazing. Like a haven of tranquility between our trip touring larger cities in Italy, family style dinner was great allowing friendships to be made. Would highly recommend this property with its free parking, dinner and also free breakfast. Ask for the downstairs room. Felt great to be able to chill in patio with coffee (ask for a kettle! and watch sunrise over the beautiful grounds of this lovely place overlooking the rolling hills and Orvieto

Minor detail: Use of a washing machine would have been welcome. But we knew beforehand there wasn’t one and if we’d wished we could’ve paid for a laundry service

A Pleasant Stay in Beautiful Surroundings

Beautiful surroundings! The gardens were lovely and so was the swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and there is a wide selection of different food to choose from. They make a delicious omelette! Locanda Rosati is very close to Orvieto which is so convenient for visiting the town.

The wifi was a problematic and not all areas had sufficient coverage. My iPhone kept disconnecting. Also, the evening dinner is a set menu. This was also problematic as some of the meat dishes I don’t eat. They didn’t have an alternative dish to choose from. Luckily, the chef was ingenious and quickly came up with a solution and me an omelette. Since it’s a set menu, it would have been nice to know before booking for the evening meal to know what’s for dinner!

We loved this place! It was so peaceful, beautiful, the pool was so nice, the food was outstanding, breakfast was perfect, and the staff was excellent. We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Don’t miss this lovely place!

Breakfast was splendid. Great staff, especially the owner who went out of his way to help us due to an emergency. Beautiful setting. Walkable to Orvieto if you don't mind the traffic.

The breakfast was great! The service was amazing--the team went above and beyond. The pool is a dream. Truly exactly what you want from a vacation in an Italian hill town. You can really settle in.

A place where you feel welcomed ❤️

Amazing place! We had a great time there and can't be thankful enough to Giampiero and his great stuff who took great care of us. Locanda is very cosy, comfortable with a beautiful territory around. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The house has its own style with a unique custom-made furniture and wooden decorations from a carpentry shop we saw in Orvieto. We felt like home. Even in late autumn it was warm. There's also a fireplace in the dining room that was very cozy. Fresh croissants and tasty coffee ☕🥐, dinners with several courses, Italian wine and family atmosphere. Hope we come back!

A home away from home.

The Locanda Rosati is so special. It is rustic and cozy with beautiful attention to detail. The rooms comfortable and big. There is a nice fireplace to hang out at in the dinning area and a TV room if you want to watch movies in the living room. Feels like home away from home. The dinners are delicious! Highly recommend staying here with family and friends or on a romantic getaway. The staff took the best care of us.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! We chose to eat dinner there as well which was exceptional. Very caring and attentive staff and the owner is on sight with an amazing personality! Look forward to returning. Highly recommend! You're treated like family.

We had a rental car so being in the country just a short drive from Orvieto was perfect. The hotel was charming, like a country inn with beautiful stone walls and some fine paintings on the wall. It was peaceful and comfortable. The hostess was very helpful in recommending a restaurant in town.
