A really pleasing choice for a nice stay. Peter as host was very helpful and informative. I liked where Glendower House was, the house itself and my room. Good breakfasts. Glendower House is very close to the West Somerset steam railway. Would highly recommend to anyone staying here if in Minehead. The Old Ship Aground is excellent for an evening meal. Good trips can be had to Dunster, Watchet and Porlock. Only snag (not related to Glendower House) is that Minehead is very quiet after autumn half term. West Somerset Railway closed.
As I said, I was happy with my stay at Glendower House.

Glendower House is only a few minutes from the centre of Minehead and the seafront. Every morning, we had a lovely breakfast made with locally sourced eggs, bacon, sausages, jams and other products. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The WiFi was slower than I’m used to, but it might’ve been because Somerset is more rural.
