Authentic Bavarian experience with easy access to Königssee

Dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing - every meal was a highlight. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Walking distance to Königssee and Jenner cable station, perfect for travelers with public transportation. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Proximity to jennerbahn, and short walk to lake, Parking reasonable for area, noticed additional parking away from hotel but close, Breakfast very good with excellent selection Local tourist information avaliable upon checkin and local bus timetable in reception 😀 as free bus with guest pass (city tax), coffee in afternoon on terrace with cake

Found bed low, no hot drink facilities in room, not enough pillows but sure if we would have asked could have had another.

Beauty building, nice location. Room with a view (no balcony)

people doesn’t speak any English, so they seems really rude speaking to you. when arrived to the room, toilet was not clean at all. Really noisy since we could hear other people through the wall. Breakfast really poor in beverage and food

Good hotel but with a bad receptionist

The hotel overall is quite nice with typical german architecture.

-the receptionist has a very cold attitude- she gave me the keys without telling me where exactly is the room or asking me if I need anything else, no infos, no nothing -the room itself is not as good as the rest of the hotel, everything is quite dull and old -the breakfast si not great, it's ok but no diversity and not super tasteful

I loved everything about this hotel since I first stepped out of the car (the surroundings, the pittoresque architecture) and it kept surprising me in a good way. I loved my room at the 3rd floor with a writing desk perfect for finding inspiration and the hot wine helped for that too! It was simply delicious.

Very dissapointing!!

We have booked this hotel by mistake. 3 min.!! After the reservation we have written a message and asked to cancel our reservation. We explained that it was done by mistake. 3 minutes after the reservation! The staff didnt reply to our mails in a considerable time. Every mail was answered in a significant delay. Moreover- they did not agree to cancel and charged us for the whole amount, althogh we did not arrive there and it was quite clear that we did it by mistake. A rep. Of booking has talked with them, and tried to convince them. It did not help. They were not willing to change their mind. They have replied our mails in german, althogh we have communicated with them in english. To sum it up- we have some questions about the integrity and service orientation of this hotel, and therefore do not recommend booking this hotel.

Excellent Weekend at the Bergheimat

Location especially. The staff are very welcoming. The value is excellent as well. Nothing is really there to complain about. Terrific experience.

Nothing at all. Just nitpicking....I would have liked to have a kettle in my room. The pillows are too soft for my liking as well. Nevertheless, I think too few would be unhappy with the hotel in general.

Breakfast was good, location is superb, walking distance to Jennerbahn and the lake. Very good restaurant for the type of hotel. Prices are very fair.

Some staff just ok with friendliness, generally ok though! Limited choice for drinks in restaurant. Both certainly no reason not to book!

The location is best point for hotel it’s just 5 min walk from König See. Rooms are clean and standard.

Beautifully Decorated

The location was perfect! Little walk to the Lake, the small town, awesome restaurants. The hotels design is very quaint, really loved the decor. The breakfast in the morning is sensational. You can have eggs to order as well. The staff did an awesome job ensuring safety and maintaining COVID regulations without making it awkward. Great job!

Die herzliche, freundliche Begrüßung.Wie sagt man so schön der Empfang ist das Aushängeschild eines Hauses.Da der erste Eindruck zählt.Und dieses Hotel kann sich sehr glücklich schätzen Mandy zu haben.Sie begegnet den Gästen mit einer wunderbaren Art und Weise vor allen Dingen professionell mit Herz.Gibt Hilfestellung,wenn diese Gewünscht sind. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und sehr Lecker auch dort war die Bedienung sehr nett und zugewandt. Das Hotel mit herzlichen Personal.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche in einem Hotel in sehr guter Lage mit sehr nettem Personal und auch noch Glück mit

Die Lage, das Zimmer und das Personal waren top. Auch das Umbuchen bei der Ankunft von dem Zimmer hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Wir hatten bei unserer Buchung versehentlich ein Doppelzimmer ohne Balkon gebucht. Beim Frühstück hatten wir alles was man braucht. Eigentlich wurde uns in jeder Lage sofort geholfen.

Leider hatten wir Silberfische im Bad.
