Excellent views, kind staff.

The staff was EXCELLENT. Cleansing lady’s to receptionist 10/10. We had a room with the balcony view towards the lake, the views were unbeatably out of this world. I suggest you to book sea view.

The beds were unacceptable in my opinion. You don’t get a normal double bed but two single beds pushed together which are on wheels. So there is no chance of sleeping throng without the beds pushing apart. For that price, a real no go. Breakfast also run out of bread and eggs around 9am and your always need to request more - which would result in you having to wait - not ideal if you just want a quick bite and head off in the mornings.

the most amazing experience at Koenigssee

we loved everything about this place🥰 starting with the entrance and meeting the amazing lady at the reception - very welcoming and warm person, ready to help anytime. so the first and foremost - we were offered to upgrade our room, because there was such possibility, for very budget-friendly amount of money, which we couldn’t refuse. the lake view just stole our hearts. in general room was very good, the building is old, but well-maintained and you can feel that it has its own character and history. i feel sorry for the people who complain about squeaky floor - guys, the building is old, but kept in a great condition. thanks a lot for the hotel staff, everything was above any expectations. much love, and we will def come next year!

The best view a hotel can offer in Könnigsee

We had a room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is so beautiful. It is the best view a hotel can offer in the Könnigsee. Boat rides just start in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated just at the start of the sea. The nearest bus stop is just 3-4 minutes away. The hotel itself gives you a feeling of old times because of its architecture and interiors. The bathroom was a little bit small but was nice and clean.

overall hotel was very good, I felt I should have booked lake view with additional 30-50 euro. Still the hotel location

Great location, but not a modern place to stay

The hotel ist directly situated at the edge of the lake. From here you can start discovering the region by car, foot or ferry. In the morning you got the whole lake for yourself.

The staff was not very interested in helping with Check-in, serving breakfast or explaining anything. The furniture is really run down and originates from the 60s, but not in a good way. The hotel has definitely seen better years and noone is interested in improving anything anymore. The breakfast was the bare minimum, and there are no alternatives nearby.

A Pleasant Stay.

Location. Location. Location. More a Guesthouse feel then an Hotel feel.

Bathroom is tiny and shower was loose but can get fixed. No self help for breakfast. Breakfast was limited. Language was a barrier.

Superb

Location is absolutely perfect, directly next to the lake and the tourist boat tours. A lot of restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was very good, the staff super friendly and the view from the balcony is exceptional!

The bathroom is very small, it was difficult for my fiance who is 1.88m tall to sit there because his knees were touching the wall, but it was cleaned everyday which was perfect! As always in Bavaria the hotels are somewhat old-fashioned but charming. It would have been nice to know that you have to drive through the pedestrian area to get to the hotel parking, but once you have the key you can use a secluded parking lot.

Aber zusammengefasst war der Aufenthalt schon sehr angenehm

Die hervorragende Lage des Hotels war einfach toll. Die alten Möbel und liebevolle Gestalten Bereiche waren wunderschöne und haben zum gesamt Bild des Hotels gepasst. Die Zimmer wahren hingegen sehr modern ausgestattet.

Leider fanden wir das Frühstücks Angebot sehr dürftig!!! Das Rührei war nur sporadisch vorhanden und Speck gab es z.B. nicht. Bei den Preisen kann man wenigstens ein reichhaltiges Frühstück erwarten.

Schiffmeisterei gefällt

Die Lage ist phänomenal, direkt am See. Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten schon gehabt, ist aber sehr liebenswert wenn einem ältere Möbel und Einrichtungen gefallen.

Der Service war nicht so wie wir es erwartet hatten. Freundlichkeit hätte besser sein können.

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Chiemsee gelegen, ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war mehr als perfekt.

Wir werden dort nicht nochmal buchen

Lage war gut. Zimmer spartanisch , sehr schlecht für einen Deutschen Standart, bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich war davor 1 Woche in Ungarn und da war es tausend mal besser. Frühstück aufs nötigste reduziert.....

Da weis ich garnicht wo oder mit was ich anfangen soll. Von der Unfreundlichen Chefin mal abgesehen...Zimmer sehr spartanisch, nicht das Zimmer bekommen was man erwartet. Bei den Betten die billigsten Federkern Matratzen, das meine Frau mit ihren 60kg jede einzelne Feder spürte, wir mussten erstmal einen Topper kaufen. Im Bad das gefühlte 100Jahre alt ist, löste sich schon die Beschichtung des Toilettensitz auf. Der Duschkopf hat nicht gehalten, die Armatur war locker und hing von der Wand, kein blickdichtes Fenster. Offene Kabel bei den Bettlampen. Die Heizung knackt sehr laut morgens das man davon wach wird. Das Personal ist so lauf beim Frühstück aufbauen das man es im ganzen Stock hören kann. Das Frühstück ist sehr überschaubar. Kein Gebäck, das einige was gebacken wurde sind die 1-2 Tage alten Semmeln die mit Wasser benässt wurden und wieder aufgebacken wurden, jeder kennt es wie sie dann sind wenn sie draußen liegen. Käse hatte auch schon einen harten Rand. Da sollte im ganzen mal das Frühstücks Konzept überdacht werden. Die Putzfrauen sind zugleich die Frühstücksfrauen. Bezahlung nur am Abend vor der Abreise möglich und dann keine Kreditkarte unter 3 Tagen Aufenthalt.

3 nachten 550€ weggegooid geld , veel te duur voor geen luxe.

Locatie is perfect, prachtig meer , omringd door de bergen. Let wel op het hotel is moeilijk te vinden , je rijdt met je auto door een voetgangersgebied.

Oud hotel , ongezellige kamers, welke wel schoon zijn maar je gaat er niet even zitten. Badkamer oké ook sober , met een zielig klein zakje shampoo , dus als je van lekker inzepen houdt neem dit mee van huis. Er was niets te krijgen van een kopje koffie of een drankje, en dat verwacht je wel in een hotel. Receptie na 18.00 uur onbemand.
