Memorable location and lovely staff

Gorgeous location and very friendly welcome from fellow Brit, Alex who helped us settle in nicely. The room was compact but we had everything we needed and it had a cosy nook for sitting. The bathroom was very nice and everything was super clean. Breakfast was good and the boats were in spitting distance for an early start. Special mention should go to all the staff. Everyone was super friendly and lovely without exception and worked really hard to make sure everyone was having a nice time. The food in the evening was great.

The pillows were rubbish and the bed and room was hot (but we had very hot weather - 30+). A fan was available which made things more comfortable. We knew there wouldn't be a kettle so we brought our own but be aware. If you have a lot of luggage you might want to consider one of the larger rooms. The view from rear balcony was a little sad (bins and car park).

the hotel is directly in front of königsee and has a restaurant on the first level, both indoor and outdoor. The first room we stayed in (Room 2) was simply furnished, but adequate for two person. bathroom was a little small but overall ok. we had a change of room for another two nights. this time it’s one that has a balcony and looking into the lake directly ( Room 4). room was fantastic- newly renovated, modern looking and spacious. breakfast was good, sufficient choices of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, fruits for yogurt etc.

Top location traditional hotel

Location is amazing, right next to the lake and 500m away from the cable car to Jenner. It was clean and tidy, rather comfortable with fair breakfast.

Bit too expensive, but for the reaction we guess it is fair.

Amazing location, room could use some renovation

Amazing location right at the lake. Clean room and friendly receptionist. Although the breakfast was not extensive, the items served were good. Free parking available behind the hotel, which was difficult to find upon arrival, but the receptionist helped. You also get a guest card during your stay to get discounts on tourist attractions in the area.

Bathroom was very small and dated. There is also no air conditioner/fan or minibar available, which would have been useful to keep drinks cold for hikes. Prices for room and breakfast quite expensive for what you get.

Absolutely great location 50m from Königsee - from restaurant it is nice view to lake. Parking is near hotel in the calm area with no tourists. Breakfasts were great with a lot of choice.

BEST LOCATION IN THE AREA!!! Walk right outside to the market and the water or sit outside by the water at the restaurant. I had a balcony that was facing away from the market and directly facing another building but the view to the right was breathtaking!!

it’s just a little old and my balcony didn’t look directly into the water but it was still absolutely worth the extra 15€ to have it

Location is very good. Very near to the lake. Staff is very helpful and very nice. Breakfast also is good.

There is no mini fridge in the room. Also no kettle to heat water to use for tea for example. So you can't have hot drinks in the evening as the restaurant also closing its doors

Friendly staff, nice room, right in front of the Konigssee (superb location). The room had everything you need. Breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of variety.
