Rest Up London

I have never stopped in a hostel before but needed something cheap in London, I had a private room, check in was easy, staff were helpful and room was immaculately clean, pleasantly surprised

It was really hot, windows didn’t open fully and no lift so had to climb up few loads of steps, I did have a small hand fan with me so that helped but other than that a good stay at a good price

Friendly staff, good value for money and clean

Lovely atmosphere of friendly people from all oveover the world plus super fabulous staff, what more could you ask for .

The vibe of the communal spaces, the décor, the staff were absolutely lovely.

Towels were an extra £5 and I don't remember seeing this in the listing. The single glazed window let in the noise of every siren and whizz popping exhaust for miles, the bed (metal framed bunk) was so flimsy you could feel even the slightest movement from the other sleeper, the bathroom plumbing made our room vibrate, even though it was a shared bathroom down the hallway, the showers in the bathroom were a nice temperature, but it wasn't controllable, there was a light broken and a missing hook behind the door. The 3 toilets on the 3rd floor had only one working lock between them. Non existent sound isolation from other rooms, including from the hand dryer from the bathroom.
