Friendship House (Southwark)

It is a very quiet hotel, the rom is specious and has a large desk to work.

Overall comfortable room equipped with fridge and private bathroom. Good value for money. Outstanding location close to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Ldn city center.

Friendship House is convenient to Waterloo, Borough and London Bridge. It's quiet and very well priced for central London.

No air-con. But the hot weather was exceptional.

Check-in was good and the staff were friendly. The location isn’t too bad as it’s not far from a couple of tube stations or shops.

It’s student accommodation usually so understandably extremely basic but the bed and mattress were so flimsy. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny and so was the shower. I didn’t realise they don’t provide toiletries so I recommend you take your own. And when it was so warm during the heatwave you would think they could invest in some fans as it was stifling even with the window open which can’t open far anyway.
