The location was great, short walk away from the harbourside and main street. The food was realy nice here too. The barman was very welcoming and was realy nice from checking in to leaving.

Disappointing

Barman very pleasant and bar area ok

Very tired, in need of a lick of paint at least. En suite shower and toilet but sink in bedroom. Stairs to rooms very narrow. Continental choice of breakfast poor. Understand many hotels struggling in current economic situation but still expect a decent return for price paid to stay. Photos on site misleading.

Superb location

Good friendly staff, room was large and bed comfortable. Food was excellent. Ideally situated for town centre, everything you need is within walking distance. Plenty car parking space.

Terrible.

Very small bedroom. Not like the photograph at all. Was on a busy road and when we asked to move room we were told they were fully booked. Only two tables set for breakfast so doubtful if fully booked. Traffic busy throughout the night so hardly any sleep.

Size of room and shower room. Noisy road and ill fitting windows didn’t help

The menu and food in the pub were excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious and staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough.

Bathroom was a little snug but well equipped. Shower was lovely and hot.

Love staying above a pub!

Always love having a pub downstairs especially one that serves good food. The room was small but adequate. The bed was nicely presented with towel elephants. It was also quite comfortable. The window opens for fresh air which we love. Shower was hot and strong just a little small, but they have worked with the space they had. Breakfast was cooked to order with a nice selection to choose from.

There was only room for 1 side table but we worked around that. Stairs are always an issue when you have big bags but these old buildings just can’t do anything about it and we managed.

Great value for money

Room was very large,extremely comfortable bed,only bad thing I would say is the toilet was very small and so was the shower,plus the toilet seat was squinty. We had a full Scottish breakfast which was great would recommend it to start your day,dinners were tremendous brilliant value 2 courses for £17 and 3 for £21 all food was amazing highly recommended having your meals here,quality of the food was 10/10.

Only thing was that the toilet and shower was too small plus no storage for putting your toiletries.

Great Choice in Nairn.

Great staff. Convenient bar & restaurant below rooms, but quiet. Evening meal was very good - chef cared - as he did in the morning with a great breakfast. Free & secure parking.

Great basic hotel

I asked a few questions via Booking.com before I arrived and got no response, however the staff sorted them all on arrival.

Okay stay overall.

Its location, the food was very good, the staff were very friendly.

The cleaning wasn’t up to standard, whilst not dirty by any means there was bits on the floor that the hoover had missed, but were obvious, there was water marks all over the shower cubicle both inside and outside and the sink could have done with a proper clean. I was also not impressed with the attitude of the chef on the second night, we were two minutes late for last orders ah the chef refused to take an order, wouldn’t even make us a sandwich. I noted that food was still being sent out 30 minutes after last orders and even staff came out eating after last orders. I did explain that we were late due to the main road being closed and we had a long diversion to get back. Deaf ears were employed.

Great location, and a clean and modern room. Don't let the the outerior deceive you, rooms are really comfy and clean. Breakfast was really good and bar staff super friendly!
