Tali Ayer

The hosts were absolutly amazing. They did not spear any expense when renovating the bathrooms. Deep high quality tubs and beautiful showers/astetics. I like the automatic lights! I didn't have to flip lights on and off when I left. I can't say enough about Tali-Ayer. The room was BEAUTIFUL with very high ceilings. The house was amazing. I felt like I was in Mary Pippins time. America is only 250 years old. To see homes and castles much much older was amazing. It's like being in a diffrent time with today's people. I really liked that while they needed to upgrade to change if from their home into a bed and breakfast, they did so beautifully, leaving the old things old, and the new beautiful, Not cheap renovations at all. I really appreciated that. The owners are also TOTAL GEMS! So nice and genuinely kind.

Nothing. Mermaids and Unicorns ARE Real!!! They are carved into walls everywhere and even have Unicorn statues. Makes me wonder what else in history we are programmed to believe never existed. I also saw some things I cannot explain. Animals I cannot explain. But they were ALL over the highlands.

David and Rowena were wonderful hosts. Large room with fabulous claw foot bathtub. Great breakfast around a large table with other friendly travelers.

Spotlessly clean. Great bathroom, free parking. Host very friendly but would have preferred to eat breakfast without him hovering over the tale.

Could not close bedroom window so did get quite cool. Electric blanket available on bed but not something we would use.

Hosts David & Rowena provide a truly memorable B&B in their stately home, furnished with period pieces and antiquities from near and far! The home has been modernized with luxury baths and connectivity, which support the roomy bedrooms and other special amenities. The breakfasts were like a scene out of Downton Abbey, with generous portions of deliciousness! A great way to start our Inverness and Loch Ness adventures! Be sure to include an extra day to relax in the cozy sitting room with Jane Austin and fully embrace this seashore atmosphere! Tali Ayer is extremely convenient and walkable to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Onsite parking was available. We really enjoyed David and his wonderful stories of Scotland and its history, and his suggestions for making our stay in Nairn special!
