A pleasant stay all in all, I would consider it again.

Bar snacks were great, good size and enjoyable, well priced. Room okay and clean.

Bed was a little uncomfortable and had no give. We had a room at the front of the building which suffers from road noise, and also it was next to a fire door, so every time someone walked passed the room it was banging. The cooked breakfast was good, but the pastries and pancakes were shockingly bad. The pancakes could of been used as frizbies and the croissants used as door stops they were that hard.

A nice interlude in Aberdeen.

The room had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room and the bathroom were clean. Breakfast was simple with a good range of options available. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Staff were engaging and assisted is with a smile. 😊

I would go back to Cults Hotel but I think I will change it up for my next visit to Aberdeen.

Dinner both nights was very good. Staff were very attentive and approachable. It was a good experience.

The room door (room 17) was very difficult to use - I was informed new door handles were ordered and this will certainly make a difference. Wallpaper peeling off the walls in room 17, it would not take much to glue to wallpaper back to the wall. It would just look better. I missed breakfast morning 1 but on the second morning it just wasn't a nice experience. Menu shared local pastries and Rowie's. It was large pancake wrapped in clingfilm no selection and didn't feel comfortable to ask. Waiter was not really interested, asked for toast - cold. Usually a great breakfast and would recommend but poor service on this morning. We all have off days.

The room was not very clean, sink cracked,grout coming out of floor tiles, bed was not comfortable, walls felt like paper thin as heard next door talking and their tv. Booked table for meal with friends, we sat down 20 minutes late, menu choices were unavailable.

An otherwise pleasant hotel stay, spoiled by an incredibly uncomfortable bed

Good location and very clean

The mattress on our bed was ridiculously uncomfortable, sagging in the middle, hard, and you could feel the springs! One of the worst beds we’ve ever slept in. In addition the bathroom didn’t lock and the door handle on the inside of the room was broken too.

Short break

It was a good location for us as we were attending a wedding close by. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was nice and was very hot as was the breakfast in the morning

Room was very hot and there was no sign of any fans to use. Very bright lights from the plug in air freshener and the disused light socket lit the room up. No dedicated car park and on street parking is for 45 minutes only, however there is a lane adjacent to the hotel that can be used

Overall good stay and friendly staff

The shower was fantastic and the overall cleanliness was great! The bed was comfortable even though I don’t like overly firm mattresses.

Personally thought the room was quite small especially with mine and my partners bags in the room too. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking

Comfortable and well priced accommodation in the heart of Cults

Then location was good for our visit. The food was good. Overall the room was comfortable.

There was no toilet brush. The pedal bin in the bathroom was in poor condition. There was no towel rail. The bathroom door wasn't easy to latch. Insufficient drawers to unpack for a longer stay. no glasses in the bathroom for dentutes etc. The teacups were quite small for thirsty travellers - perhaps a mug would be better. In spite of these things our stay was pleasant.

Amazing staff, wonderful stay

The staff were amazing. Super helpful with any requests we had and went above and beyond to be of service to us.

Just a few cobwebs on the windowsill and one window didn't open so it was a little stuffy in the room at night when the weather was warm - may be handy to have a fan in rooms during the Summer perhaps. Also desk chair had a few stains on it but it's a classic old building so none of these things were a big issue for us.

Very comfortable and easy to navigate. The staff were lovely and the value for the money was great.

The location and the staff were super helpful and accommodating to our specific needs. In the restaurant again the staff were very happy to help and accommodation the various eating needs and timing. I especially love that the hotel backs onto a garden allotment so it was lovely and peaceful sitting on our balcony and seeing all the vegetable gardens and locals growing their food.

Rooms were nicely decorated, good linen, bathroom was newly tiled and very clean. Staff were friendly, location was good for our needs. It has an excellent, bar, lounge and restaurant with very nice food.

Very good hotel on Deeside, with easy access to both city centre and the tourist Deeside route

This is a really good hotel, just outside of the city and en route along Deeside. The staff are very helpful. The bedroom was very spacious, spotless and with a beautiful extra large bed. Both bedding and towels are high quality. The bathroom was spotless with a great power shower. The room had 2 lovely large windows and lighting also was very good. Breakfast was included, was plentiful and cooked breakfasts were to order.
