Excellent holidays

We had an excellent stay at Dub apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and exactly as described. The host, Luce, was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also great. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – highly recommended!

As long as you are fit a good place to stay.

The apartment was very clean and kitchen reasonably equipped. Usual stuff two ring electric hob kettle toaster crockery and cutlery. The owner was very nice and accommodated my early arrival. The view being at the top of a steep hill was well worth it if you one of the two top floor apartments.

Location is at the top of the steep hill to the main village by the sea. It's a steep walk and if you have mobility or respiratory/heart issues you would need a taxi to get back up the hill which I got ripped off for 10 euros for less than a minutes ride up the hill with my shopping. There is an adjacent plot currently being excavated for a new building so heavy machinery jack hammer grinding all day into rock reverberated all over the building and loud noise to go with it difficult to relax. Also work was being done at the property which also created noise disturbance. Television didn't work. Hot water tank cold in the morning so a tepid shower in the morning. Once the new build immediately adjacent is built and the issues above are fixed it's fine, if you are young fit and able, place to stay. Generally Croatia is one of the most expensive places in Europe to visit which is now a put off for me.

Apartment was lovely, nice size rooms and nicely furnished. Plenty of towels and all mod cons. Peaceful surroundings.

The walk back up the hill, was a bit steep, but there is a bus that was cheap enough.

Found the description of distance to beach misleading, States 5 minutes walk to beach. It actually takes over 20 minutes up steep hill with steps and a breather at least twice!!

Everything was Great.. We stayed only one night, but it is place where we could stay all our holiday.... Host even washed our laundry in Wasching maschine for free.. Excellent price/ratio

comfortable and well set up

A very clean and comfortable apartment. It was well set up and had a balcony with a lovely outlook over Cavtat. The location is a short scenic walk from the town centre. I enjoyed walking down in the evenings as the sun was setting. I prefer this area of Cavtat to the Beach Zal area because of the old town and access to the rocky swimming areas on the peninsula. I'd stay in this apartment again if I come to Cavtat.

Just one small thing, the apartment was very clean except for the floor which was quite dusty and probably needs to be swept and mopped more frequently.

A very good stay compared to the price.

Immediately upon arrival, a very friendly host gave us the keys. The view was very good, with the compromise having a big tree blocking the direct view to the shore. The parking lot was secured in front of the house. A grocery shop is just 50 meters away which was handy. A spacious apartment. Utilities were all just fine (AC, hot water, etc.). Five minutes drive to the beach parking. This is the best option for Cavtat, if you go by car since there are no mosquitos and humidity like apartments near to the shore. Excellent sound of crickets and birds. And above all very friendly host Ms. Luce and her husband.

The second smaller bedroom could have more light and it can make you feel a bit claustrophobic.
