Amazing view but limited facilities and dated decor

The hotel has an amazing view over the lake which was lovely to wake up to.. The breakfast was generous and the breakfast room had a great view too. The pool was lovely on a hot day. Free parking was a bonus and the walk into town by the lake was lovely, as was the location.

Paper cups instead of proper cups in the room was a disappointment. Only one plug for the fridge, kettle and phone charging was a big problem. Very thin walls meant we could hear our neighbour snoring during the night and no screens between the balconies meant we didn't feel very private in our room. A knock on the door by the cleaner at 8am was an unwelcome surprise followed by loud vacuuming - not very relaxing for people on holiday. The dated decor didn't really match our expectations (or other similar rated hotels we have stayed in). The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.The bathroom was tiny and the shower very weak and temperamental. We felt that it was quite a lot of money to pay for the limited facilities.

The location was fantastic, right next to the lake with 17min walk to town centre. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room view was amazing as well. We booked a room with breakfast and it was worth the price.

The only thing that I would improve is the size of the shower. It was quite small which made it difficult to use. Other than that it was great.

Amazing value for money. Amazing views and a relaxing stay.

Breakfast was very good, with many options. The view from the lake view room and balcony was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel didn't feel too crowded and had multiple areas to sit outside and enjoy the view e.g. by the pool or breakfast hall.

Some breakfast items didn't seem to be replenished well at 9am, an hour before breakfast finishes. The scrambled egg wasn't kept hot by the heater underneath which appeared to be turned off. You could hear noises from the other rooms e.g. toilet flushing, and from the hallway, probably as this is an older building and the doors aren't as thick as in other hotels.

We chose mountain view room and it was very nice, but to enjoy your stay more you should take the lake view, where you could have your wine on the balcony. Nice breakfast to start your day. and very helpful owner. We really appreciated possibility of early check-in. We just wanted to leave the car and go biking, but the lady owner let us use our room, just because it was already set-up for us from the morning. It's good location, easy, short walk to the city, where you can take ferry to different places on Garda Lake. Ferry stop in summer is just at the other site of the road.

Sweet dog around the hotel

Room wasn’t clean and smelled like cigarettes. When I asked the front desk they said yes it smells, too bad. Not helpful or friendly.

Very good

I loved the location of this hotel, it was directly on the lake with such an amazing view from our room and just a short walk from restaurants, shops, the harbour and the castle. Before our stay they were very accommodating and replied promptly to our queries. It is a nice, quiet hotel, always kept clean with basic facilities on hand. Great for a short stay!

Awesome location, great pool, rooms may need a little touch-up

Superb location with views of the lake; and great hosts. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool (though admittedly its a little small for the number of guests this place can cater to) .

newly renovated, the hotel rooms need a little more working - the A/c was working but not controllable from the room- had to go to reception to get it turned on; and one could n't change the temperature; the door of the bathroom was not lockable (due to broken lock)

It was a lovely stroll into town. Balcony had great views and the pool was relaxing to have. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful location away from the crowds but convenient to get to Malcesine or the bus/ferry. Breakfast was great. I thought it was a great place and hope to be back again for longer stay. Sabina and Marinella were super helpful to me in answering my questions after I sprained my ankle and had to modify my plans.

The view from the balcony was amazing,you could just sit there and relax while watching the lake. The breakfast was really good and they also have a bit of options for me (I am vegetarian) .

the fact that the bar and pool closes way too early in the summer,it should definitely close around 22-23. other than that,everything was perfect.

The view was amazing. Having breakfast in the morning looking out over the lake was just wonderful. Good choice at breakfast with lovely coffee Staff are very friendly and helpful

The fridge was very small in the room and the walk up the drive from the road is very steep (but definitely worth it for the amazing views) Definitely not for anyone with a disabity There were a few guests that had dogs with them which is not ideal to me when I am on holiday. Although none of them were a problem

Such a friendly family fun hotel, you was made to feel very welcome. We had an amazing room with spectacular views of lake Garda and the pool. Our room and the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was outstanding.

There is very steep climb up to the hotel but we did it and didn’t spoil our holiday.
