Good size room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Super friendly and helpful staff, who helped us to book a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was simple - nice breads and cold meats and cheeses - this was fine for 2 mornings but would have liked more choice if we’d stayed longer. Tables on the terrace were a lovely location but filled up quickly so we got up earlier the 2nd morning to make sure we could sit outside!

No air conditioning so it was very hot in the room at night with the shutters closed. No fridge, and not even a hairdryer. Most rooms seemed to have a balcony but we didn’t have one, which was a shame.

Beautiful vacation in the Alps

Beautiful location and very friendly hotel staff, always ready and willing to help the guests to feel comfortable during their stay. Breakfast very tasty, with diverse choice of food, in the evening you can have a drink in very cozy bar, which belongs to the hotel as well. The Faaker See is just 10 min to walk from the hotel, with very warm water and the color of the see is just amazing...and also with very nice view to the mountains. We are looking forward to come again!

Breakfast and location were very good. Good parking space, lake with small beach at walking distance. Also good restaurants in walking distance.

Keep in mind there is no AC or fridge in the room. This was a little bit of a problem since we were there on some hot days. Luckily the temperature goes down at night so it was never a problem to sleep.

Die Lage des Hotels über dem See ist hervorragend. Die Gastgeber geben allen Besuchern das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Auf das Frühstück haben wir und jeden Tag gefreut.

Wenn überhaupt dann kann man fie fehlende Klimaanlage erwähnen…muss man aber nicht. Trotz strahlendem Sonnenschein waren die Temperaturen im Zimmer immer angenehm.

Ein Wort, Wunderbar!

Absolute Empfehlung! Ich war bereits das zweite Mal zu Gast in der Pension Melcher. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Zimmer sind sauber, in gutem Zustand und ordentlich. Schöner Ausblick von Zimmer und von der Frühstücksterrasse in die Berge Richtung Mittagskogl und Faaker See. Strandbad Drobolach nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Die Bedingung und Service alles sehr freundlich, allem voran die Frau Chefin. Das Frühstück sehr gut, für jedem was dabei, vom Lachs bis regionalen Honig. Parkplatz reichlich vorhanden. Was ich besonders hervorheben möchte ist die nette persönliche und besondere Behandlung, hier kommt man sich nicht wie eine zahlende Nummer vor, jeder Gast wird wertgeschätzt und besonders behandelt. Immer gerne wieder. Komme bestimmt ein drittes Mal.

Das Frühstück war extrem vielfältig und sehr, sehr gut. Es wurde auf spezielle Wünsche eingegangen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für die Fahrräder gab es einen extra Raum zum Einstellen.

Hervorragende Unterkunft

Eine tolle Unterkunft, noch nie so eine freundliche Hotelchefin samt Personal erlebt. Frühstück, alles was das Herz begehrt. Am Abend ist ein gemütlichen Ausklang im zugehörigen Almstüberl im Nebengebäude des Hotels empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder.

Wunderbare Menschen haben uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt ermöglicht.

Das Personal insbesondere die Chefin waren sehr bemüht jeden Wunsch und alles darüber hinaus zu erfüllen ! Man merkte die familiären Strukturen, welche den Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem machten. Die Unterkunft ist jedenfalls sehr weiterzuempfehlen! Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl an regionalen Produkten und ist sehr reichhaltig. Die Lage ist top, vom Zimmer aus ist der Faaker See und die unglaubliche Berglandschaft zu sehen.
