Lovely hotel with suberb staff !

Very comfortable bed and good standard all together. A classic design - hotel with a heart. Nice breakfast. No problem with the parking spaces (both outdoor - cheaper option or in a garage - a bit more expensive). Lovely staff, super friendly !

Weak WiFi in the room, so if the internet connection is important to you - ask for a room closer to the main part of the building. Our room was at the end of the corridor and I suppose that’s the reason why the signal was weak.

Old school clean

Room was immaculately clean as was rest of Hotel. Easy check in close walk to town, train with supermarket, bars etc all very close

Was very hot in the building made it a little stuffy The town prides its self on cleanliness and the truck street sweeper started outside the window at 5am then the garbage then the cleaners…….

The breakfast was very tasty.

The toilet was running continuously when we arrived, which was disturbing while sleeping. It was a bit stuffy, but opening the window was not a good idea because of the central location.

Great location and friendly staff!

Really gorgeous rooms and very clean. Location was so close to the downtown Villach where there are tons of restaurants. Front desk offered me a bike (included in the room payment) and places to go! Very appreciative of the local knowledge and was thrilled with my stay here!

Hot but cozy and well located

I was afraid the single room would be too small but the size was perfectly adapted. Small but with enough space for one person to do everything and they even had a "baggage holder" in the room. The hotel is located very close to the center and I could easily access restaurant which were at walking distance (3min). The personnel I encountered was very friendly !

I was there on a very hot day and the room does not have an air conditioner. It was so hot that I could not sleep so I had to open the window. And then the noises from outside kept on waking me up as well. The parking is a bit tight towards the end. If you are parked at the end of it and every parking spot is taken, you might have a hard time going out. Fortunately there were some places fre when I left so I did not have a specific issue.

Exceeded expectations, would stay here again

Clean and spacious room in the centre of town, an easy walk from the train station. Secure locked storage area for our bicycles was great - complete with stations for charging E-bikes if you need that.

As other reviewers noted the bathroom is tiny. However, I am a tall (193cm) and I managed OK with the shower and toilet so not really a big issue.

Wonderful traditional hotel steeped in history in beautiful Villach. Very convenient location with parking nearby. Walkable to everything. The staff is the star, however, friendly and the hotel is beautifully maintained.

nice traditional hotel, with the 200 year family history illustrated on the walls with various documents. good breakfast too and free parking

christ's second coming will be sooner than a hot shower in the evening. It did work the next morning though! the internet login had some weird security warnings. which didn't instill much trust in the safety of their wifi. staff seemed to be aware of it but didn't realise the potential hazard to customers' devices. breakfast ends at 9.30 but seeing that at 9 we were the only ones, it doesnt seem to be a problem for most guests.
