A very charming villa with very well appointed 7 rooms. We loved the decor and the feel of the place. It was very comfortable and the hosts are very welcoming. The personalised breakfast was such a highlight. The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood and we heard birds chirping in the morning and evening. The public transport connectivity is great too.

Villa Nardi was unlike any other place/hotel I’ve stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the owner’s pets and we could truly sense how welcoming and warm the reception was. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room we stayed at was spacious and had a window overlooking the garden area as well as the heart of Florence in the distance. Even though it was a rather grey February, it was still wonderful. A huge highlight were the breakfasts every morning, because although the options are limited the quality of the food was superb. You’re served what you’ve submitted the day before. Your order for example could’ve been scrambled eggs, lemon tart and pancakes topped with fresh fruit, and you can ask for coffee and also make yourself a cup of tea. The interior of the residence is marvelous, I loved seeing the painting collection paired with the gentle music playing during the day. I hope to stay here again someday.
Can’t really think of anything to complain about

Everything. Perfect location. Parking available for free at the property. Only 25 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio and less to great trattorias and gelaterias. The hosts were incredibly helpful. The room was beautiful, as were the dining and lounge areas. Lovely gardens. Great breakfast. All for very affordable tariff. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel near Porta Romana in Florence. The building is a beautiful, old neoclassical property and it’s exceptionally well maintained full of character, charm, and a warm atmosphere. Everything felt spotless and well cared for, and the whole place has a calm, elegant vibe.
A special highlight was the homemade breakfast: fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. It made our mornings feel truly special and added a personal touch to the experience.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a charming, authentic place to stay in Florence.

Breakfast was outstanding. A lot of options, made fresh, and in a beautiful "Villa Kitchen" setting. The owners have three small toy poodles that they bring around. One of them is named Rose and is very freindly and a pleasure to spend time with.
We were there in January, so we did not have a chance to enjoy the garden.

Everything was perfect. It is very hard to find parking in Florence, but Villa Nardi offered gated parking which was very awesome since the city is within walking distance. The whole experience was magical. I loved that the Villa maintained the charm of the it's age but with all the updated comforts of a brand-new hotel. I loved the attention to detail in ever thing about the place. Breakfast was no less thrilling surpassing all our expectations. The host even let us leave our car securely parked inside the gate after checkout so we could enjoy the town a bit.

The ambience and villa set up together with the nice floral scent of the entire hotel, makes the entire stay memorable.
Shortage of staff and “traffic jam” during breakfast period; even though you’ve specified the breakfast timings before hand.

Nothing to complain about
The hostess could have interacted a bit better with her guests, but on the whole she was still nice.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were breathtaking — waking up to that scenery each morning was such a treat. Breakfast was delicious every day, with so much care put into every detail. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality really went above and beyond. And of course, we have to mention the adorable pups on the property — they were such a sweet bonus and made the place feel even cozier. We can’t wait to come back!
Nothing, it was great!

We stayed in the family run Villa Nardi for 5 nights and found it a perfect location from which to explore Firenze.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and supplied lots of local information. Our immaculate room had fabulous views out to the Tuscan hills and was a welcome break from the hustle of the busy city.
It was a short 20min walk to Ponte Vecchio and 10 to 15 mins to most places of interest. We tended to spend the day in town have an early dinner and escape to our haven for some chill time.
Breakfast were delicious, shout out for the pancakes which became a staple. 😁
I wouldn’t hesitate to book Villa Nardi next time we visit Firenze.
Leaving it after our 5 days!

Perfect location within walking distance of Ponte Vecchio with secure parking. It was our second time as guests at Villa Nardi and the accommodations, communication, hosts & breakfast were excellent. We will return. We spend a month in Chianti every fall and this will be our base for future trips to Florence.
Not a thing! Everything was perfect.

This is a gorgeous, serene property away from the noise and hustle. It is a villa that has been restored by someone with excellent taste. The breakfast is large, with lots of options and delicious! The attention to detail at villa nardi sets it apart…for instance, there are three types of honey available for breakfast in the morning! Ingrid at the front desk is lovely, warm and welcoming and the young owner is on site and is helpful and accommodating.
Nothing; we loved every minute of our stay!

The location is good. The room is good size and the bed is comfortable
The building is very old. We learned after getting there that the building was kept as is. For example, there were pictures of people on the walls, there’s an old library that smells of old dusty books. The walkway smells of pets.
Overall, there was no services available. I had to lift my luggages. The place is ‘ creepy’ in the meaning of random people pictures on the walls and the smell of the place

Amazing historical villa in the heart of Florence. Very close to the city center by foot, very well located - in a neighbourhood of wonderful historical villas. Great staff, exquisitely decorated villa that offers a true return in the 19th century. I strongly recommend, it is an amazing experience, I absolutely loved it!

The place is excellent in a beautiful area, very quiet… The room was comfortable and most of all the staff was very helpful!
There was something missing from the breakfast in terms of options and quality in order to match all the rest.

The staff was very efficient, attentive and pleasant, particularly Ingrid. She met us upon arrival, briefed us on the property, and gave us a lot of information regarding the area, maps, breakfast, etc. She continued to be very helpful throughout our stay. We were provided assistance with making dinner reservations and retrieving taxis. All in all, the hotel made everything seem-less. The grounds around the Villa are well maintained and create a peaceful environment where guests can relax after a long day seeing the sites. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Nothing that I can think of.

The villa is a beautiful converted family palatial home. I love the design, the art work and how it feels homely. Our terrace room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the trees and mountains. The hotel is really relaxing and only 15 - 20 minutes to central Florence. I love the tranquility. The service is excellent. The breakfast was delicious (I had scrambled eggs, speck ham and jam tart). The poodles are adorable and greet you when you arrive. I want to go back already..

The pillow and the bed is not comfortable at all. There is no service for luggage we carried our bags alone and the elevator is VERY small it fits one bag only

Perfect location. A beautiful house in a very green and lovely garden. Walking distance to the center of Florence but away from busy streets.
Great breakfast. Very clean. Very helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike.
Just be aware that the afternoon bar is closing at 19:30 . Front desk is also closed after 20:00.

Nothing at all.

Very charming historic residence, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished throughout
Recently renovated bathroom with a good shower
The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, but close enough to walk to the Boboli gardens and restaurants
Obliging and helpful hosts
Plenty of tasty breakfast options and the possibility of enjoying alcohol at the hotel in the afternoon
Bus stops nearby if you are not wanting to walk to points of interest in the tourist district
Pet friendly
There was a coffee pod machine supplied in the room, but if you prefer tea this is not included in the tariff and costs extra
The plug in our bathtub did not seal so we were only able to shower
As it is a historic residence, the lift is tiny (enough to fit two friendly adults or one adult and one suitcase) and all rooms are up 4-6 flights of stairs, be aware of this if you have mobility problems
Having only one room key to open the front gate and elevator was somewhat restrictive

Villa Nardi is a beautiful residence, immaculately clean with tasteful details throughout, respecting the villa’s history. The room was truly beautiful with a very comfortable bed making for a perfect night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely, set in the beautiful old kitchen of the house. The real stand out was Andrea’s hospitality - a first rate hotelier with genuine passion whose recommendations were excellent. We would have loved to have stayed upon our return leg to Florence if vacancy had allowed!

Everything about this place is so well thought out and stunning! They have done such an amazing job to make the facilities comfortable, purposeful and beautiful. It is a really special place and we will remember it for a long time. The breakfast is AMAZING and the rooms were absolutely stunning. The whole property would be particularly special in the summer but it was so beautiful and cozy in the winter too.
