Convenient, but value for money could be better

Beautiful building right in the centre, clean and spacious family room. Because the actual hotel is in a newer building than the reception and the breakfast room, we couldn't really enjoy the atmosphere. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, despite water being quite cold.

Expensive for what it had to offer and some basics things were missing - no closet in the room, we had to put all our clothes on a table in the middle of the room - sauna was never warm enough and was very small (max 3 people) - shower in the room took very long time to warm up - breakfast price too expensive, so we decide to skip it

Great stay in Rochefort

The building where the reception and breakfast is located, is a historical and beautiful building. The garden is also beautiful. The breakfast was very good. Our room was very spacious and well equipped.

The sauna wasn’t working properly. The pool is also quite small if you have to share with other guests.

Super hotel!

Atmospheric hotel, right in the centre of Rochefort. The rooms were well appointed (not sure what I made of the open wardrobes) with all of the facilities you would expect of a hotel of this quality.

Some of the staff were more friendly and linguistically able than others.

Beautiful stay

Breakfast was superb and so is the surroundings you can view from the courtyard. Spa services were nice with a proper swimming pool.

The hammam was out of use.

Fantastic location, great boutique hotel with a modern built separate building. The staff really made this hotel, from start to finish the best service received. Very helpful and attentive to all needs and requests! A truly 5 start experience!

Parking location was tricky to find, maybe some info via messenger for its location would be a good idea!

Nice hotel, but quite pricey with options

Hotel main building was old and very pleasant. The new annex where we were was nice and 'trendy' although hard to find stuff in dark painted rooms. Excellent bathroom. Air con worked. Good free parking at the rear. Good location. Did not use restaurant in the hotel. Nice bar and garden outside to relax in.

Breakfast at 21 euros is way too expensive, so we eat elsewhere for less than half of that price. The rooms come with a nice pod coffee maker, but only 2 pods, and only for the the first night. After that you have to pay extra. How mean is that?

A very disappointing experience

We have stayed before and were wowed by the uniqueness of the building and decor, the bar and characterful, comfortable adjoining lounges are really special. But this time the whole main hotel was locked at 8pm!! Our dream of spending the evening after dinner in this wonderful venue was reduced to sitting on our bed in the bland and ordinary bedroom in the annexe with its high windows and constant noise of traffic. Very disappointing, not what we booked.

Disappointing

It's a central location and the room was clean.

We got a room in the new block, which has a completely different feel to the photos shown on their website. We arrived on Sunday evening at 8 pm and the restaurant, reception and bar were closed. We also had no access to the main hotel or lounge. If we had known about this set-up we wouldn't have booked. I'm sure it's great if you stay in the main building but the new block is a concrete building with no character.

The room was incredibly hot (no air conditioning) and loud. We were charged full breakfast price (15 EUR X 2 days!!!) for our 3 year old child who barely touched any food.

Stop over on our way to Maastricht.

Breakfast very good - nice selection and good service. Location couldn't have been better as it was on the main street in Rochefort. Great to have a swimming pool and steam room - a real bonus after a long journey.

Could have done with air conditioning as it was very hot at the time. Although there was a fan, it was very noisy and affected our sleep. A headboard would have also been nice; rather than the bare wall.

A great place to stay with a beautiful garden and indoor swimming pool

Nice big room, with a big comfy bed. Indoor swimming pool, with bathrobes. Delicious breakfast in a nicely decorated room. Beautiful garden area, with a lot of seating possibilities. Free parking. Good location. 2 sinks in the bathroom and a separate toilet. Very nice and helpful staff.

As our room was on the top floor, ie. just below the roof, it was very hot also at night. No shower curtain or a possibility to attach the showerhead to the wall, so you had to make an extra effort not to wet the whole bathroom floor when showering.

The room we stayed the first night (with Jacuzzi) was really spacious and comfortable. Pool, Sauna and breakfast all very good.

There is a big difference between the various rooms in the hotel. The room we stayed the second night was not nearly as charming as the first night room.
