Nice location, very quiet, Hans and his wife went out of their way to be good hosts.

For UK guests be advised that a B & B in Belgium, does not include breakfast in the price. Not a big issue but maybe it should state that on the site.

Great base to discover the environment

Ideal to visit the surroundings (nice trail to go for a run, Les échilles Rochehaut, Pont de Claies, Bouillon,....) really peaceful. Restaurants at Rochehaut (Taverne de Rochehaut and Point de Vue) are excellent. Bakery in Paliseul (Florian Didriche) is wonderful - both are 15 minutes away only.

"La roulotte (papillon) " is a bit outdated and opening and locking the door a bit painful, but then again a peaceful neighbourhood so no risk at all

Curtains were almost see=through so it isn’t dark when you sleep or early in the morning. When your neighbour uses water it is really noisy.

As Australians travelling a bit off the beaten track it was great to have a bilingual host to guide us, enabling us to see what Bouillon had to offer. Well worth a visit!

A great place to stay.

This was a great place to stay. The room was a lot larger than anticipated and included a kitchen area. Breakfast was very good and included local cheeses and meats with and explanation of each provided by the host. I was travelling alone by motorbike and the host took time to make sure I had chosen the best routes.

Overall a pleasant stay. Visiting Bouillon is a must, as is visiting Rochehaut.

Arrival and set up. Spacious gite (french): in this case it was a flat located in a larger house consisting of a living room and three bedrooms. Nice fenced area with a little playground for kids (could have more options though). Quietness (in general, see section didn't like).

Owner also rents for a single night and to all. Sometimes this backfires and it did to us (and all other visitors nearby). A group of young imbeciles (as owner described them) came and made a drinking party which ended with throwing meubles at 3 a.m. They only stayed for one night, messed around and left. Owner should probably consider to whom he rents and he probably will.

Cosy house.

Not clean enough, none of the taps work properly, dirty blankets, smelly, no supplies at all, you have to bring everything, soap, towels stuff for cleaning dishes.

Good and quiet stay near Bouillon

We stayed in the "Coccinelle" trailer, which matches the description - very tiny but in good condition and facilities work well. Very nice hosts and the breakfast was simple but with fresh products. Good location, 5 minute drive to Bouillon.

The breakfast was good but could have maybe included fruit and also a vegan option.

Fantastic roulotte for a family or friends

Heerlijk relaxte en mooie omgeving en vlakbij Bouillon wat echt zo'n prachtig stadje bleek te zijn!

Het appartement was ruim en knus tegelijkertijd. Wij waren er met 3 volwassenen, een puber en een hond. Voor iedereen was het relaxt. De omheinde tuin voor de hond, de gezellige vide-woonkamer met lekkere banken voor onze dochter en de woonkeuken voor ons. Ruime badkamer met heerlijke douche ook. Het tweepersoonsbed was prima, maar smal (grote Nederlanders ;)) Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt, maar zag er gezellig en lekker uit.
