It was clean, close to the cliffs and was in a lovely Seaside village. The staff were excellent, attentive and very helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent.

Weekend away for a significant birthday

Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere! The room was spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the shower was excellent. We even had a coffee machine in the room! The balcony had a sea view, and the sunrise was spectacular! The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. A home away from home!

A Truly Exceptional Stay in a Beautiful Hotel with Outstanding Service

The hotel is beautiful and full of character. The person who welcomed us was very professional and provided all the information clearly, giving us great suggestions on what to visit in the area. They were extremely kind and assigned us a tranquil room, just as I had requested. The entire hotel staff is very kind and attentive. The room was very clean and smelled lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the armchair under the skylight added a romantic touch. The heater works perfectly. (It was cold and windy outside) The breakfast is of excellent quality, and the service is exceptional. The bar is very comfortable, with a fireplace that creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the area.

After three stays in once year this hotel has become our go-to when we’re in Clare.

The Hotel is perfectly located if you need to be in this area of Clare. Appreciate that it’s small enough that you’re not tripping over people at every turn. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and fully renovated in the recent past. Filled to the brim with fine art and a library’s worth of books.

Small quibble with the lighting in the room - just like most hotels. It’s either all on and bright or mostly off and the fussy little reading lights at the bedside. No options for a light near the chair.

Excellent location, only a few minutes drive from the Cliffs Of Moher. We had dinner at an excellent restaurant next to the hotel. The winner for us was the 3 double beds, spacious room and bathroom.

Amazing location, very new and comfy rooms. Plenty of parking spaces. The interior design is immaculate, a lot of books which you can take with you and read. We also got a complimentary breakfast, which was more than enough to start your day. Highly recommend!

Perfect overnight stop for visiting Cliffs of Moher

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the bathroom/shower! One of the best on our entire trip. Location is fantastic, especially after a day of hiking around the cliffs. Very clean. Loved the patio/balcony and skylight in the room. Most beautiful sunrise! Nice continental breakfast.

Overall kind of dark, the bar area, lobby, and rooms. Beds were not the most comfortable. Needed light on desk/vanity in room. Only reason for not giving excellent rating.

The best shower in the country :-)

There‘s the bus station right in front of the hotel, where you can get the bus to the Ciffs of Moher (12min). The rooms are spacious and the shower is a dream! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast a lot.

You can‘t have lunch or dinner at the hotel, but there are pubs just next door.

Good but a bit over-priced

The room and hotel were refurbed in the last few years so it was clean and modern. We paid for a Superking room and the bed was really comfortable.

There was no fridge in the room and breakfast was continental only. For the location, the nighly rate is equivalent to what you would pay in Galway city so a but over-priced. The hotel is a good 20 min drive from the Cliffs of Moher and there are very few dining options in Liscannor village.

It was a memory maker because of the hotel vibe!

First of all, being greeted by Victoria when we arrived. She was pleasant and helpful. When she served us coffee in the morning, she wanted to make sure things were just right and that we enjoyed our stay. Her husband was helpful the evening of our arrival when we were in the pub.
